Same here. Did it twice. First time I joined in late. The second time I participated from the start and even opened the chest but never got the achievement.
Hey guys! We are tracking this. If you log back into an older character with the HOM achieves and back into your new character it should clear up. It does look scary!
Had the same issue. Almost had a heart attack :P Luckily logging in with an older character worked for me.
On which backitems does it work?
Got mawdrey myself and don’t notice any difference.
Have been saving for weeks to get those. Hopefully we get a chance to acquire them.

Although we have some really cool achievements and titles I don’t have the feeling we can show our dedication in one area.
If you look at the legendary weapons, if you don’t count the TP, the only way to obtain them is to participate in various types of gameplay like dungeons, exploration, WvW but you don’t really have to excel in any one of them.
If you look at the Fashion Collector Title. It doesn’t say much when you’re a real collector. The new collection achievements only add some AP and some specific titles. But what if you have all armor and/or weapon skins unlocked?
Also when you love miniatures you can’t really show it off. You only get a title for collecting set 1.
Not to mention when you’re a hardcore WvW player. Only way to show it is using mistforged weapons, which are practically obtainable by everyone.
Same goes for crafting, dungeon running and maybe even for PvP.
I would love legendary stuff that really shows that you ARE really legendary in that area.
I would love a legendary mini (Glint?) and cool title when you collected almost every one of them. Get a UNIQUE legendary armor/weapon when you have rank 10.000 in WvW etc. Then you can really show people where your passion lies.

Now that the miniatures are part of the wardrobe I’d like to add an anomalie:
Unlike the armor and weapon skins the miniatures are ordered in alphabetical order descending (Z —> A) and not ascending (A —> Z)

Does one type of Fused Gauntlets (light, medium, heavy) unlock the skins for all three?
When I double click my golden lotus the magical infusion is missing and Unused Utility Infusion Slot is shown instead.
My main char is a Thief. He has full zerker gear. Now I have a choice what to do with my mad king armor. Really want to make the best decision.
Turning it into berserker will make my other armor set obsolete. Another option is to make it assassin’s. Giving me more precission resulting in more crit. chance but have less power.
Does the increase in crit chance make up for the decrease in dmg?
