So today i met

Kirito from sword art online

Garen from league of legends (CGI version)

and a paragon from GW1

What other characters have you seen while running around

If they ever did rename this class I don’t think it should be Paragon as that is unique to GW1.

So therefore i think the specialization could possibly be renamed to “Paladin” As that was the original concept name for the guardian.

A paladin is a knight renowned for heroism and chivalry, this fits the guardian very well.

In other fantasy games, books etc Paladins have wings and sometimes even bows and arrows.

We also need amazing videos like this too

Remove Racial skills and add Non combat Racial Bonuses.

Something like the following:
Humans Get discount on Karma temple armour and Ebon Vanguard weapons as they worship the six gods and founded ebonhawk +2% gold from monsters in human areas (Kryta)

Norn get discount on Norn weapons, Wolfborn weapons, Godskull weapons and +2% gold from monsters in the shiverpeaks.

This is a simple template to follow and easy enough to balance between the races, also i think it would encourage people to play in there starter areas more.

This is what i use in small fights depending what you are up against it sometimes will struggle in a 1 on 1 if they are a skilled player with a lot of buffs if they are unskilled you will take them down as you have over 2k power 2.5k with bloodlust stacks and 24k health. conditions are sometimes a problem but you can remove 8 conditions within 10 seconds from traits and skills this build can also help in zergs too.

GS for DPS
scepter/ Shield for cc (immobilize and knock back) and keeping targets at range while hiding behind wall of reflection. Wall of reflection to be used so other zerkers (mainly rangers and sometimes eles) kill themselves.

Quite a simple and effective build if you ask me, Does everything it needs too but no its not zerker DPS or cleric support and doesnt follow the meta. it just gets the job done to stay alive and have fun.

What version of SweetFX are you all using, i have tried using Reshade which has SweetFX 2.0 the game crashes or simply says missing a .dll file

This is my latest look, going for a more traditional fantasy look, he was silver and blue.

But gold and purple just stands out alot more and has a much bigger impact.

White Dye, Gold Dye, and the red on the helm is Lifesblood Dye

Here is my Character Brother Proteus, he is a guardian and based off a paragon from GW1.

Any suggestions on how to make him look more like a paragon.

P.s. Please Anet make Angel and demon wings, would also love polearms to be added

Hey people

I’m looking to dye my armor the same/similar colors to the colors of the Guild weapons you can get from Guild Commendations by doing Guild missions.

The guild weapons come in gold, black and silver. have a look here or preview in-game. (Next to the bank in LA)

but no matter the dyes i used i cant find anything close enough. plus i only have a handful of dyes.and previewing dyes one by one on the trading post takes way too long by myself.

Atm i’m running black dye and gold dye, but gold dye isn’t dark enough and black dye just isn’t the same shade as the ones on the weapons.

Please me and possibly others out there who are wishing to do this.
