Well, it’s been said that they will make up for their mess up starting with the April update… We’ll see.
I take the following word for word:
“I strongly believe that we will in fact entertain you. We’re a team of people who love the game that you love, and are working on things we’re confident you’ll love. But I’m not here to convince you of that, and I wouldn’t expect you to take my word for it. You can make that judgment in April, and each subsequent time we ship. I will work to make you happy, and I’ll do it by making you happy with what we ship, not with what we promise to ship.”

anet has shown this heavy handed stance since the great 600 nerf in gw1.. they do what they want and that’s the end of it.

if i was mike.. i’d laugh and say.. as if the community knows what they want…
when opinions are the flavor of a dispute against a product that has failed to honor its statements.. opinions aren’t needed to state a factual reason for disagreement.. and only add to the confusion.. as well as the non willingness to read 36 of 39 pages of dribble by the company employees.

i don’t think the blowback about suspending legendary weapons is an explosion of anger and frustration over not having more shiny pixels.
been playing since factions.. i have 5.7k hours on my account for gw2.
what i see.. from my pov.. is a series of company let downs to its player base(s).. glossed over..
all this.. my pov.. your pov… meh. anet is a business and gw2 is a game. its a shame i have yet to see people discussing a product they own and why the customer base satisfaction seems to be decreasing… from an objective pov…
