Uhm, nice vid for people who are clueless, but the rest of us who know how to play Mesmer would rather just see you list your traits. I skimmed around thru your 13 min long “intro and traits video” and still have no idea your traits and I’m sorry but I’m not going to sit around and listen to the whole 13 minutes of you talking to try and figure them out.

Just my opinion, but I feel like they’ll make the chests account bound instead of character bound in the future. I think that is the first step to fixing these lag-fests. Second step may be to do something about guesting to get chests. I don’t think that they will revert to the old loot tables though.

I hope they don’t change guesting. I spend all day working, I want to come home and spend some time playing and getting these chests too, but if I cant guest it makes it too hard to get them all on 1 server. Making it account bound is 1 step forward, but I feel like not being able to guest to get a lower spawn timer and have to sit around for 3 hours for a dragon is too harsh on people like me who only get chance to play in the evenings.

I’m curious how this would work with Bezerker on the neck/rings/trinkets & weapons and knights full armour. I like the idea of a tanky mesmer, but don’t want to give up all of my cannon.

Just so I’m clear, it’s worth losing some Crit % and toughness in favour of Crit damage % and power, then build up Crit % with food and oils?

Yeah I get you. I’d lose a bit of toughness from the amulet yeah, I have a knights Amulet, ring and Chest piece. The main reason I asked is as it’s a new item people may not have looked at it as much, and the amount of precision gain from the amulet is quite substantial, so I would be gaining 2% crit and some toughness, but losing out on Power and Crit damage.

Is there a certain crit % you should aim for, then build around crit damage/power etc? 47% feels a bit low for me, I’d love to get it to around 54% if possible, but I’m using runes of air, so maybe Eagle would have been a better choice?

I’ve been looking at the amulets and just got enough Laurels to buy 1, but I’m unsure which I’m going to go for now. It’ll be for WvW & PvE

Atm I’m sitting at 2,106 power, 1,821 precision, 1,085 toughness, 47% crit chance & 80% crit damage.

I’m mainly stacking bezerker stats with some Knight pieces. Primarily using GS with Sword/focus.

Any help please?
