This issue is going to be discussed to death in coming days as we’re all unhappy at the changes to Alacrity, but the reason I’m making this topic as someone who rarely frequents the forums it that I’m concerned that the Developers haven’t considered the cascade effect of the alacrity change.

If the goal was to nerf the effectiveness by 50% then that’s not what has happened here, the effect itself is weaker, fine, but now the Mesmer has longer cd’s on everything, also lowering our ability even generate Alacrity at all. This toning down will result in a larger than 50% loss because we can’t keep up our previous uptime and will impact other aspects of our gameplay more than I believe is intended. I’d suggest at this time making alacrity stronger on the casting mesmer but I realise that may not be possible or desirable.

My EU Raiding Guild and I have been waiting online all day every day since we first got locked out of the raid, and you turned it on for a FEW MINUTES during NA prime time without announcing it to anyone as “Please be aware the UI may still prove unstable enter at your own risk”. Can we please get some communication on whether or not these UI problems would have precluded us from fighting the boss in any way? Or did you simply not wish people to raid without the new UI? Please communicate with us here, we woke up several eager raiders at 2/3am who were HAPPY to log in to raid if it was available but only 7 of us got in. Can we please be given an option of a 5 minute window to fill our raid with the understanding that we know the UI doesn’t work?

Some attention for this would rock, it kinda messes up CC chains which is a huge deal for Engineer pvp where we rely on CC to land any significant pressure or combos.

I have all the Dungeoneer collections completed for a while now, but when I unlocked the skin for the CoE Speargun it unlocked the skin in my wardrobe but didn’t count for the Collection itself. Because of this I can’t finish this collection and get my title. I’ve repurchased the skin twice and gained it from pvp once, salvaged, equipped etc all but it hasn’t changed anything. Any assistance would be great, please!

Travlane you’re not a thief, or a guardian, you’re barely a player. You’ve made an absolute fool of yourself here, and I sincerely advise you either work to improve, go find another (easier) game to play, and/or just stop posting on here where so many people have to cringe at your lack of basic common sense.

Great work Auesis, and Travlane, take this as a lesson. Just because you or a good portion of other players are too inexperienced to pull something off doesn’t mean it can’t be done. There is always a better player out there.

Nice to see ideas coming out to make thieves more desirable in groups and not another “make us able to 2 shot better” post.
