Most of my time, I play as a guardian (DH). It was and still is my favorite profession since I start to play GW2, but I want to try something else too. I like that I can be a support, but also I can handle 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 1. Sometimes, I go and harass their home at the start of the match, sometimes I go for rotation. Depends, on the match mostly.

I also have a Ranger, Necro and a Mesmer. With the last 2, I don’t usually play frequently when it’s come to PvP. But every mode I go, I will use my guardian.

I think I am too used with my guardian and I don’t give a chance to any class. I did try Engi and Warrior few days ago, but I was still undecided. Then I thought about Rev that I never give a chance (also, thanks to Dreamy’s video. He contacted me.)

I do like challenge and I think with an Engineer I would have that challenge than with a Warrior. But, being used with my guardian, I act like one and I don’t play safe when I am a squishy. Plus, necros are ruining my life XD The fact is, I still need to learn him to be capable to fight a necro or 1 vs 1. if Engi is able to do that. With Warrior, I feel that I am focused too much + I don’t see a challenge, it’s too simple comparing to Engi. (combat stuff).

I would choose Engi based on my preference (having a challenge, acting like a support [I can offer them boons and stuff]) and about what you guys said, but then, I never tried a Rev in PvP. I had one for PvE (before they nerfed him), then I changed the server and deleted him. What is your opinion about Rev in PvP/PvE?

I want to make another class, but I don’t know what to choose between Warrior and Engineer. I want to use them for PvP/WvW (zerg) and perhaps PvE (fractals/dungeons). Pro and cons for each class?

ANet, don’t add more servers.

First, we don’t have all servers full / high. Half of them or so are medium size and even the full once, they either don’t have good commanders on a time zone or no players. Either way, they aren’t full, they will always complain about that.
Second, no one will move to a new server without receiving something in return. Some will move just to leave from the zerg.

Work on the servers that are now, add rewards for new and veteran players. Make them log every day and enjoy the mode. You dedicate so much time on PvE mode than in WvW. So many new stuff, so many rewards that you can’t decide which one you want to get it first. You will never be able to fix the population. Players will move wherever they want, where they feel happy, where their friends/family are. You can’t make them play where you want or lock their server. Listen to players feedback/suggestions some of them really have great ideas. Make gold, silver, bronze servers. Not everyone want to be in a zerg, be a roamer or do gvg. Everyone want a certain style and you force them to be in a single style: “zerg”. Let the people play how they want on which server they want. Make your customers happy. Wipe some servers, burn them all if you have to with a new names so everyone start fresh, not some, but only if you adjust and settled everything.

For those who say about server pride:
What’s the problem if they remove server identity ?! None of you (from host server) didn’t support those servers whom lost their identity. You only think about your server, that you get new fresh meat for your own battles. Which is kitten understandable, but not fair for those players, whom love the same thing that you love: WvW.

Your server identity is about receiving hate from all those server, to be called stacked server or “why you don’t die already” server or siege lover server and you love that, that hate. you love that pride that you have for being “better” than others. from having a label. Even inside of your server, you aren’t a server 100% united.

Instead of your narrowed mind with your server identity, you should think at all those possibilities to make WvW better, even if that means wipe everything that you made. If WvW will be great again, but at consequence to have a wiped server pride, I’m 100% in for that! Those slave server lost their identity because many of you qq-ing on forum that you don’t have people and even now you aren’t happy with that, example: with anvil rock server.

PS: i’m not in a slave server. all I care, as everyone else, is about WvW. I don’t care the consequences or your salt after this post. you need to realize that WvW is what we love. WvW population should be united, not a freaking server pride that could fall at any time.

Hello. I am curious if this beta will end up being permanent. After 3 months they will make the links permanent or they will go back to what it was with 24 servers? After 3 months the lower server will change with another server or it will stick with what server is now and beta will continue?

I was on forum when he start to ask questions about what happened with NA and I saw how some of them trolled him and start to make fun about that.
Don’t be a kitten with people who left and act that everyone is a freaking traitor and transferred to TC (i’m not even mention YB).

I am just a pug that loves WvW more than PvE/PvP [and I’m still on JQ] and I feel disappointed about what happened on JQ. Look at BG for example, last season (I think) they didn’t end up on 1st place and yet they are still a strong server and still on first place now. Many guilds left JQ and now this server is on T2 (and soon 4th place). Could that be community? It might be a shock, but yes. It’s all about community. You should be neutral and not blaming the people who left or others who are obviously disappointed/upset by others. People will eventually (TPMN.1483 is one of them) ask questions when they see that their server is kittened up.

If you guys, the people who are in charge care about this server (and i’m not saying about PPT, being in 1st place, tier 1, dominating all timezones) as a community, you should really think twice and listen to everyone, not only your thoughts and desire [or being on the same page with your heroes and wanna be like them or want their attention]. I’m not ashamed or afraid to say, but BG is the perfect example (in my view and what happened in the past and what happen now).

PS: Is obvious that you have a problem with people who are not on the same page like you (and the ones from the forum) and act like everyone who left, left on TC. Yet, you should know that not everyone left for that server and KILL is an example that I could think and yet, they have same thoughts as him.
