With all the changes in recent months, do you still recommend your damage/variant or have you come up with better builds as of recent? Your video is one of my favorites on youtube, but I can’t seem to get the same results as you. I die pretty quick from conditions only because I do mainly havoc stuff so a lot of group fights and I almost never escape if their is a zerg around the corner cause I get immob and dead. If you don’t have the same issues, then maybe I just need to learn to play better or position myself better in a fight, but tips would be helpful if you have any. No… I’m not going to drop my ranger for another class.

Dude, I totally want to know the numbers. I know we were rocking a measly 30 to 40 man group, but they were out numbering us 3 to 1 at the very least. Oh and to encourage all my fellow rangers out there. Ran a trapper CTP geared build surrounded by many and stayed alive the whole fight downing players left and right. Contrary to popular belief, you aren’t useless guys.

I’m still new to the mesmer (lvl 33) and I have no idea how to build my character. I usually play in a group of 4-5 friends in WvWvW and I want to play a support role. What I really want to do is not kill the enemy, but rather be a nuisance to small or large groups of enemies while staying alive. I don’t really want to be a tank, rather I would like to be annoying enough to take aggro away from my friends, but mobile enough to escape.

What kind of build is right for me, and what other tips do you guys have for a noob mesmer?
