Hmm, searched online and can’t find where you buy it at.. And I’ve crafted 3 ascended weapons already.. My memory must be terrible

Yea I’m level 500. Already crafted the rampagers ascended staff. And I’m thinking that if I try to repurchase the wupwup staff recipe, it will let me purchase it, but not use it.. Therefore, wasting 5 of my 9 laurels and 3 of my 7 gold It’s a waste either way honestly but that way would be like letting the artificer merchant kick me dead in my lips. lol

I wonder if I should try to buy another one.. I only have 7 gold and 9 laurels left. It’ll bust my bank to the core and then most likely say “you already know this recipe”

I guess the only thing left to do in a situation like this would be to throw in the towel, sell anything that isn’t account bound, and stop trying silly things like crafting wupwup. Never had any problems with the zoja inscriptions but I wanted wupwup for ele

So I submitted 2 different bug reports. Do they ever get back to you ? Or is bug reporting just a way to pass the time ?

Hey guys.. Was crafting the WupWup Spire (Staff) and after purchasing the recipe from the artificing merchant in LA, I consumed the staff recipe, then consumed the inscription recipe.. I have all the materials but the recipe for the inscription isn’t showing up in the crafting menu and it’s not discoverable. Only the staff recipe is showing.. In my past weapon crafting, I know to consume both recipes. So that isn’t the problem. I did check my inventory about 15 times as well, just to be sure. Any ideas ?

Yay.. I got the pvp finisher achievement.. It was my own ignorance and as usual, I’m yelling bug bug ! I wasn’t equipping them in both ways. Needed to first consume them from my inventory. Then, once that placed them in the finisher category I had to equip them in the “hero finishers” screen and make sure they were showing as currently equipped on the bottom left corner.. Seemed a little extreme to equip a finisher but it could be that I’m a bit durr durr too. Now to figure out the 82/83 hints.. It’s the mail one but I’ve gotten my mail spammed a few times.. Wonder if it’s a certain kind of mail.. I filled it up again yesterday and I got the hint on screen but it didn’t trigger the achievement.. Thanks for the help though guys

Okay I just used 10 MK finishers and 5 SC finishers on the npc’s in pvp..I even looked at each finishers to make sure it was the mad kings head or a scarecrow… Still at 0 people stomped Every time I decide to become an achievement junkie, I run into this.. I have 7,300 ach points because I keep giving up on achievements entirely.. I see people with 13,000-14,000 achievement points and ponder on the level of patience and drive that one needs to fight through the bugs all the way to a score like that.. There should be an achievement for getting achievements… lol

I see.. I also was double clicking the finishers in my inventory.. Although the finishers would disappear when I clicked them, I just found another way to use them in the hero panel.. I’ll try it now.. 3,500 hours of play time and I’m still learning interface.. Such a noob.. tyty for your help.. Another thing you might be able to help with.. The 82/83 hint completion.. I’ve tried for months to get rid of it.. It’s the mail one but I’ve had guild members fill my mail.. I’ve done hearts to fill it it.. And I know that reporting something like that would “never” even be considered as far as answering or fixing.. It’s an ocd thing now.. I see it every time I open the panel.. Can’t take it. lol

Considering the Halloween content ends on the 11th of November, I decided to finish it up.. I have 9/13 complete. I’m trying to complete “Lunatic Inquisition” and “A Stomping Good Time” but after doing 8 rounds of “Lunatic Inquisition” I received the loot bag but it didn’t go to 10 of 13 achievements complete instead of 9 of 13. After spending the time it took for 8 straight rounds I got frustrated and decided to try “A Stomping Good Time”. Used several Mad King finishers in PVP.. Did nothing to my achievement panel.. Then I tried Scarecrow Finishers.. No luck.. It seems that I’m stuck at 9/13 in the achievement panel… I’m assuming that the reward you get (candy corn ele) is what’s needed to continue the story but I just can’t get there.. Any ideas ?

After coming back to the game recently, I’d have to say that I might actually understand how MMO’s work a little better now than I did before. With GW2 being the only game I’ve ever put 3,030 hours into, it’s safe to say it’s the only MMO I’ve ever “really” played.. So I’ve been one of the heavy complainers for the first year.. Most of my complaints seemed to have come about due to my lack of knowledge on how MMO’s work. I have 10 characters and was always upset at the lack of farming, the lack of high value weapon drops and blah blah blah. Now that there aren’t trains of bots running around, there’s an insane amount of content, there’s so many ways to be rewarded, green and blue items hold value, and the number of players have increased immensely, I finally get it. This first year was just polishing the game to perfection. Everything you’ve done up to this point has been for very good reason and you have done a super fantastic job. Still haven’t gotten the high dollar drop and I’ve wasted approximately 1,000 gold in the forge trying to get a pre cursor. But I’m guessing that to be about average (even for a 3,000+ hr player) due to the lack of legendary weapons that I do see. So I offer a very sincere apology to the team of GW2 for all of my crying and moaning. I know how things work now and you guys are currently on the tippy top of my gaming list. Awesome work on polishing the best game out there right now

P.S. : I figure an apology isn’t worth very much by now but I’ve heard that later is usually better than not at all

What do you do when you have 9 characters (8 of them level 80 w/ multiple weapons some multiple gear sets and cultural tier 3 armor) and you’re getting stomped in wvw, you have no need for dungeon running because everyone’s geared, and there just isn’t anything you really want to do but you still want to play.? I’d think farm for the chance of a good drop. As if you haven’t killed this game enough with the drop nerfs, you slid a few more things in there. I just wonder where it’ll end. The chances of getting an exotic drop with 130% MF are 0 .0000000001% but if the sky falls and you do get one, it’s one of the “many” 1 gold one’s that you added (worthless). Now I can’t press ctrl to view my missed drops. lmao. You sincerely want me to miss the few drops that I do get ? Come on guys. I’ve been a good player. Spent 500-600 US $‘s in the gem store and I’m just one player. You guys can’t be hurting for gem sales that bad. Bad enough to ruin the game.? Just killed an orr boss and didn’t get the daily. Not sure if you took daily chests out and I don’t wanna know. I look forward to playing this game when I get home and I play it so much that I need to switch things up. I need to farm every now and then to refresh. I know you’re relying on new players but they’ll run out eventually. Think about the guys that have been here since beta and head start before it’s too late. PLEASE.. Don’t kill the best game I’ve ever played so soon

Well, after needing a few rings for a few characters, I got back into Fractals for a bit after being pretty much over the whole thing. The combination of everyone’s attitudes, long runs and “shortcuts” that are usually “longcuts”, I was over it. But ,, I needed some rings.. So, I started doing it daily again. After 10 or so daily runs without one ring dropping, I thought that it couldn’t possibly get worse. But, I seem to be having an issue with dc’ing now when maw is at 2%. It’s only happened twice but what are the odds. ? Both times, I was bamboozled on both the maw and the daily chest. I know I wouldn’t have gotten any rings but still. Is there any way around this ? It’s a dumb question I know. But I gotta keep hope alive

I don’t wanna get all boo hoo wah about farming because I’m sure it’s been done to infinity and beyond. But what I do wanna mention is that farming can be so much fun. I’m at a point now that I still play the game more than most people but I find myself getting discouraged frequently.
If I run a few dungeons, kill a few dragons and play a bit in the forge, it would be so awesome to be able to farm a bit to make back some of the money I flushed in the forge. Plus you’d always have farming to go to when you’re just plain burnt out on everything else.
Maybe it’s just me but farming for two hours can be loads of fun if you actually have “a chance” at getting something nice to look at (or drops worth selling so you can purchase something nice to look at). Farming just never gets old to me when things drop. Even if I don’t need the items but they hold value. Maybe it’s the whole fruit for the labor thing I don’t know.. And maybe I’m just ranting because I know this post won’t make a difference whatsoever.

I love this game so much but I feel like I’m running out of gas here.. If there were only another way to fix the issues at hand that didn’t include back stabbing farming.
