Feedback: Guild Wars 2 Mac 64-Bit Client

Overall my experience with the new client has been the same as Hawken’s. Some graphical glitches with flickering and an occasional crash but it has been way more stable for me than the 32-bit client was. There is some hitching, and the first time everything loaded it did take forever. I think the fact I have a fusion drive in this iMac mitigates a lot of the loading times. (I haven’t run into this keyboard glitch people are mentioning.)

Can we please get a working Mac Client [Merged]

Inazuma pretty much summed up the major issue and why a fix isn’t coming anytime soon. I’d suggest everyone who is angry simply request a refund.

For the people whose launcher isn’t showing up, this is a thing that’s come up before in previous updates. It happened to me earlier this week after an update. Give it 10 to 15 minutes to see if it shows up. (Might take longer.) Once the patch loads and launches once it should be okay. (Meaning, the next time you launch it after that it should pop right up.) There might be more details about that in a previous topic somewhere in here.

For everyone else who is determined to keep playing: Settings -> Best Performance. Yes, the game looks like a hot potato when you do this. However I managed to get through whole event chains on the new maps without crashing at lowest settings. Keep sending crash reports. Good luck.

I did what Excludee said and left the client running. Eventually the window did show up, not sure how long it took since I came back to check it this morning.

I am having the same issue. Activity monitor shows the program is running but nothing is happening.
