Awww ._. dear designers, we <3 you!
While the rest may work on the ‘new and shiny’ stuff, you are the ones that keeps us playing. Otherwise no one would be there to play with the new stuff once it gets released.

Thank you for the pics, Marge. I definitely see an improvement, yay~
Too bad that it’s still kinda blurry, but at least they worked on it and maybe, the next minis will be of better quality right from the beginning.

Sexier armor for males?

I loved some of the outfits in Aion. To me, they were sexy and not too revealing to be considered armour (and not underwear like the ‘armour’ in some other games. Of course there were some pretty skimpy ones as well, but not nearly as many as in some other games).

Okay, the last one is a little special, but I still like it, it’s kinda cute

I think I have every right so say, that the quality is below the average, or how some would call it, to complain. It’s like giving a review of a book, I share my thoughts and usually, this is very welcome.
So why should anyone complain about people that give feedback?
I don’t regret buying the red panda, it’s still adorable and since I don’t buy a lot of minis, it’s a nice addition to my little collection.
But still I think that the quality is poor and yes, I can say this because I bought it, because I was able to observe it and not just looking at some pictures. And no one here was ranting or wanting their gems back. What I read are concerns about a drop in quality and a hope that the panda will be reworked, or at least, be the only mini of such quality.
What I do with my gems it entirely up to me and giving feedback, positive or negative, is an essential part of quality assurance.
(I hope you get what I mean, my english is not that good.)

I still bought it thou <.<

Same here ^^"
No matter the quality, it still is a red panda q.q and I can’t stop imagining how cute it must look if a little red panda would play with the arctic fox.

Still I hope they rework it u.u

I would not complain if all minis were of such quality. But usually they look really well done and as Crovax said, it’s not just the textures, it’s the whole appearance.
Compare it to the moose, or any other mini ingame, they look so much better because the fur has a decent texture and the faces aren’t that blurry.

The face looks really blurry and though the animations are cute, it just looks poorly done compared to the other minis. Are red pandas somewhere in the game? If so, it seems they simply converted these without putting any further effort to the face and fur. Really sad and I hope they rework it, at least a tiny bit.

Wrong hair color

Since the patch from March 16, the hair color of two of my characters is wrong.
The color I choose for them is night shade, but the bluish shimmer is missing.
I know that the surroundings and the lights affect the colors, but well… it’s like the hair is black, the standard-black I mean, where only in certain environments a slightly bluish shimmer is visible.
Before this patch, the night shade color had a very visible bluish shimmer, no matter the surroundings or graphic settings.
I tried different graphic settings, during the day and at night, various locations… But still the blue is gone. Even more, other players also can’t see the blue shimmer, so it’s not just my graphics, or settings…
I even tried using a styling kit to see if the color somehow changed, but no, it’s still night shade.
I want my hair color back u.u please q.q

Thing that's been a mystery to me since beta

If it’s too much trouble to adjust every single hat to the various hairstyles, why not simply add a hairstyle to the hats?
For example: If you put on the Ringmaster’kitten there could be some visible hair attached to it like some short hair for males and maybe some curls for females.
Of course this would not be a perfect solution, but at least our characters would not be bald.

NPE Feedback [Merged] - Please read 1st post

I don’t recall seeing that. Granted, my viewpoint is different, but I really think I see a bug called a bug and a change called a change.

Chris or one of our designers is your better source for info on this. But my impression is that we don’t “sugar coat” actual changes by dressing them up in a bug suit.

I thought, when the patch went live, the utility slots where meant to unlock at such late levels (13, 24, 35 and 40). That this was intended.
Now it’s revoked.
If it really was a bug, then I’ll apologize. Also, if someone stated that the devs thought it was a great idea, and it was changed due to the feedback given.
There are so many threads and even with the dev tracker it can be hard to keep up to date. But there really are situations when I get the feeling that some bugs are too obvious to be bugs.
So I (and it might be just me) sometimes can’t tell the difference between a bug and a good intention that’s gone wrong (and just like me, when I did something wrong, no one wants to be the one to be blamed).

Well, sorry ^^" It was mean to let It sound as if someone tries to fool the players. It’s just a feeling and something that get’s worse when I can’t understand certain changes, or lack a real explanation. Hard to explain…

I agree with you about this. I think it’s premature to gauge how NPE will play at the current time, because we do know changes are coming.

And yes, you do see some forum members making the same points again and again. That truly is not helpful to the review and discussion, in that the devs would prefer a focused, clear, concise statement rather than realizing “Wait, it’s that same person, saying the same thing for the 19th time.”

I guess a lot of players would prefer to know what the devs have in mind when something goes life, when something seems to be full of bugs and things that do not work as intended. But all we get are blog posts that make mountains out of molehills and don’t give concrete informations.
So… what changes are coming? What is a bug? What is only declared as a bug because the players don’t like it and noone wants to admit that it was a mistake?

"Leveling as a Reward" Experience Crippling!

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Soraiah.5042

I doubt the devs ever played a character on the actual servers from 0-80, otherwise they should know how… unpleasant the new leveling experience is.
Nothing is really explained. What we usually learned naturally during the first levels now takes forever. Until level 40 we do not have access to all our skills.
We lack things that help us deal more damage (which is necessary since there are a lot of characters with higher levels in the starting zones → events get harder for new characters since a level 80 can almost onehit an enemy with his autoattack), we lack condition remove, extra healing…
No control over pets, no F1-Skills, no vistas, no underwater battle. No fun?
Restrictions everywhere that make me feel as if I’m to dumb to play. Funny, I wonder how I could ever reach Level 80 in the past and not make every other player avoid me as if I was contagious.

(Sorry for the poor english…)
