Warning to the servers that will draw JQ next match. Get ready for jumping puzzle campers and lots of siege weapons.

Most upper tier servers have enough money to buy more siege than you can supply.
How do you throw farther? I can only throw the keg like 20 feet with the 2 skill, but the other team was throwing it from half court most of the match adn then we got some kegs down to our end and they were able to throw it the full length of the field, is there a power up im missing?
I’m not a fan of that idea, but until we see how things are matched during week long battles; hard to say how things will play out. Many guilds haven’t been as gung ho as they will be about upgrading cause you dump gold into keep defense just to lose it a few hours later because of resets.
Also hopefully they iron out the brackets so no one server completely facerolls
I just loot would appear in my inventory,
Make an auto loot option that auto loots.
The other day i was one a seige, have a good number of bags around me. in the 2-3 second gap it took to claim all my loot bags I lost access to the seige I was using. (was a cannon so no ownership). I know they trying and made it so loot bags spawn to you, but when you are running sometimes you dont even see them
Couldn’t disagree with you more.
I’ve leveled up to 67doing WvW (still in a level 25 zone in PvE) While the XP for taking a keep and SM can seem extreme, theyare extreme acts.
Defending is worthwhile. If the enemies were able to put constant pressure, I get a huge chunk of xp every 3 minutes for the defend than I would have gotten after a lengthy seige and takeover.
Hearing about WVW during those dev talks made me so excited for WVW, it seemed like the greatest mechanic ever. However, on playing it for a few weeks now i’m so bored of it. It’s the same old thing over and over with no true reward at the end of it. Here is a few of my gripes about WVW.
1) That horrible system of loading in players when you get close to them. I have never seen a system designed this bad. You end up running into a group of 20+ that just pop out of thin air and getting destroyed by them before you can react.
2) PVE mobs in a supposedly PVP zone. WHY? If I wanted to kill AI mobs i’ll stay in the pve game.
3) Some classes being far better at it than other classes. I thought the game was trying to keep classes balanced? They are failing at that so far.
4) No lockdown timer on freshly taken objectives. Spend ages capturing an objective and feel like you accomplished something at the end? Nope, capped back 5 minutes later, sucks to be you.
5) Having to repair after pvp deaths? stupidest thing ever.
6) Having the downed state in PVP.
My list is bigger but felt it wasn’t really worth my time typing them all out so I put down a few.
1) To be honest, I haven’t noticed this as much as it seems many people in this thread so not much to comment here
2) I don’t mind them for the most part, the got me a double kill that was going to lead to me death I do have an objection to the world events that surround the mobs. last thing i want to see again is while we lose a tower nearby half the pugs are to busy killing an icewurm.
3) I haven’t seen any class that didn’t have a use yet. Some may be more useful, but no class is useless. All games are like that, you can’t balance every aspect of the game unfortunately.
4) I think the timers on the guild claimer for cupply camps needs to be removed. If you are unable to prepare for the oncoming retaliation for taking a keep/tower then your zerg did not plan ahead to bring enough supple for a couple of quick arrow carts . This game needs you to add a brain to the zerg.
5)I agree, only suicides or npc deaths should cause repair
6) I think there needs to be a timer. You can only stay there for 30 sec- 1m then have to rez
Cost only seems high now because we are new. The cost for upgrades isn’t bad at all. Upgrades for keeps and towers are meant as guild projects. A guild claims that keep and then sponsors upgrades. It’s not meant for the solo soldier to bear the weight of the reinforced walls pricetag.
As for movement speeds, I think it’s just right. Any faster and it would get too hard to take anything. Some of the success in taking towers is doing it before the enemy team gets there to reinforce the small squad they left on gurad.
Zerging is just the sign of lack of leadership, not because of movement constraints. Most people will follow the loudest voice of the crowd. When that voice says attack here, everyone goes. Until guilds get multiple commanders, and start breaking people p into smaller groups; we will have the zerg.
As for lack of communication, someone just needs to step up and hang out and defend keeps/towers and give status reportsto the group. if you are spending the gold on upgrades and seige to defend your guild encampment, leaving a few soldiers to defend and scout is just a good idea
I get my badges fastest when I’m on seige equip defending a keep.
I want to know if I am wasting my time in 2+ hour ques
