First, I know that quip effect grenades that is fine but what about the other kits? I main an engineer and whats holding me back of making a legendary is one thing. That thing is that I spend a majority of time in a kit if its not bomb/nade its Elixer gun. I purpose that Anet updates the engineer’s kits so they have some effect when you have a legendary. It could be as simple as engies streamer nades just something. That, and if we have an ascended weapon the kits receive necessary minor bonuses to the even the playing field. For I have read that kits are equivalent to exotics that’s fine till we equip an ascended weapon then we lose out a tiny bit. Sure its min maxing but i just want things to be fair

Remember all of this is still subject to change, its what they are planing. I personally don’t use explosives V. But I am no looking at a bomber build again due to the potential buff to elixir bombs. That has been needed for a while

I support this and I would switch my engie over to a turret build for I loved the spirit builds in GW1

Alright, after some working (wife has Windows 7) I figured out why I can not access the gem store in game. It is due to a bug with Windows 8. Yes, I am running this in Windows XP (Service Pack 3). The problem I am having is that when I access the gem store (where I can purchase items with gems) on my computer the screen will go black. Alt f4 to get out, works fine on hers. Hope this can be addressed at some point. Also Support ticket wont email my password but says I have an account on my email.

Edit: she has an account as well as me, my account will access gem store on her computer but not mine.

Very simple, I can not buy anything from the gem store for every time I go to it the screen goes black. I have to alt-f4 my way out. Not my monitor due to the fact everything works fine except for gem store. I really need some blue transmute stones and yeah…

I am starting to debate on going for quip on my Engie (charr). The question is dose Quip have a particle effect on Bomb/Elixir gun? I primarily use bombs though. IF no then i see no point in getting it
