I agree the current looking for group tool is just Bad, not only that its hidden away to the point MANY people dont even know about it.
As someone pointed out before. The Current LFG tool / Icon, you have no idea what the person is looking for. Consider this.
Im in WvW > i see the LFG icon above a player > i invite said player into our group > He Joins but lets us know he is looking for a Dungeon group, and Thus Cant while grouped with us in WvW > Leaves.
the Dungeon Spam in Chat will always exist, but for example the Spam created for Dungeons in wow greatly dropped thanx to the updated LFG tool.
Please ArenaNet dont take 3 Years to update your LFG tool, you can clearly see already there is a big Demand for such a thing.
I personally have only run a 3 Dungeons because guildies asked in TeamSpeak. I would love to Run more Dungeons and would by all means use Said tool if it was available but find myself wondering amously in PvE in our “off peak” time in WvW
Actualy its a known bug.
You need to exit the instance/group your with and re enter. The entire group will face the bug unfortunatly..so do be sure ot let them al lknow.
I completed the tower with 2 chars last night. This morning i went to do it on a 3rd and failed that final jump 5 times in a row. I left the instance and re entered being put into a different group. That time i done it 1st try. other people have also had this happen. bassicaly the clock breaks..but it only breaks ‘visualy’ ..you cant actually get through, its a loading point..it detects your character being near it and loads up the inside..however when it bugs out ..this doesnt happen and all you do is hit a wall and fall.
Could of saved myself 30-40mins if i knew this, Really annoying Bug
Also I have noticed… why do most gamers today (the ME generation) think just because they bought a game they are entitled to have everything NOW, and they want it without having to work for it?
Heaven forbid they have to put in effort for that new shiny skin. How blasphemous!
Seriously folks… the self ritiousness of this new breed of gamers is pathetic. “Give it to me now!” attitude sounds nothing more than a child having a temper tantrum. According to these people, the devs must change all aspects of the game to suit their wants and desires. Can’t these people see how utterly ridiculous this is?
Maybe at 38, I am just too old to get it. the way I was brought up is nothing is free, if you want it you have to earn it. Same goes for video games. If you want the stuff in game you have to work for it. Plain and simple.
Anet do not cave into these whiners. They will bring your game down. Most of us are having a blast. Fix the problems, but do not compromise the soul of the game.
