Personally I find the simple party UI a bit too simple. Only removing the avatar picture would have sufficed for me. A clear party UI is critical for situation assessment where visual perception of the combat can be blocked by view direction and overload of skill effects.
In my opinion the simple party UI lacks pve/wvw effects (environmental/bundle effects) and a clear health bar (deathshroud, ressing). I guess there is just always a trade-off between a non-intrusive simple UI and information that can be gained from an UI.
My suggestion would be to make the simple UI the same as you see your own boons/conditions. This also reduces guardians boons coming halfway your screen. Thus 3 bars in total top-down:
health
boons, pve/wvw effects
conditions
Thanks I’ll try that. Hopefully me and my guildies can get the dungeon title now
Edit: Did it with someone waiting with the npc outside and it worked. Thanks alot.

Are there any tips for completing path 1 (Jotun) around? My 2 runs both bugged at the last door. Probably because the npc died. Any tips or guides on this path?
My guess is:
- Not until next year (or maybe TP)
- Not until next year
- Don’t think so
- Not until next year (or they implement it in an other way due to popular demand)
Does anybody have an Anet source confirming any of this? That would be nice and definitive. I would also like to know if the recipes for the hw weapons are only discoverable / obtainable during halloween or also after the event. And if discovered recipes will continue to exist and be usable after the halloween event.
I wish Anet gave some answers on this. Got all the halloween mats for all the recipes, but don’t want to spend 30g on certain regular mats for the recipes right now. Certainly not if the recipes would disappaer after the halloween event. But if the recipes can only be mystic forged during halloween and the keep existing after, I would gladly pay that 30g.
