This person has compiled tips and guide videos for getting gold on the various adventures. For that adventure in particular there are some shortcuts which you may not have thought of yourself but are basically required for getting gold. You can watch the videos to see how it’s done and then it’s not too hard with a bit of practice.
Most important though is the shortcut between the last two checkpoints. You can get gold using that shortcut alone, although it is possible to get silver without using any shortcuts at all.
Good luck!
I love it as well, truly an epic score
So I’m not sure if this is intentional but this patch updated the warrior skill “Shake It Off!” to cleanse two conditions instead of one, however the trait Shrug It Off is still set to trigger after one condition. Should this have been updated to trigger after two conditions in light of the recent change?
(By contrast the elementalist trait Burning Fire triggers after three conditions and also cures three conditions.)
So my group and I experienced some griefing from a player via the LFG tool. I reported them to the extent I could in game (“LFG System Abuse”) but would like to elaborate on that here as it seems that the player was exploiting a bug (oversight?) within the LFG tool or squads.
We were in a dungeon when we advertised on LFG. The player joined our party and next thing we were all immediately and unexpectedly kicked out of the dungeon. It turns out the player had somehow placed our party into a squad on LFG which explains why we were kicked out. After we had been ported outside we had to leave squad, regroup, and restart the dungeon again. The player would do this every time we listed.
Simply, I think it should not be possible to join a squad while you or any of your party members are in an instance for this reason.
Assume you are soloing, if you go in with a team you should be able to rejoin them.
Personal story instances are not like dungeons or fractals. When the instance is opened party members are invited into the instance. Only those who accept the invite enter the instance and this is the only opportunity to do so. This means that if you DC you are kitten out of luck.
I had a DC during the final phase of “Hearts and Minds” extreme mode, just minutes away from killing Mordremoth after we had spent two hours on it. I couldn’t get back in but my party managed to finish it off. The worst part is that if I had been the host we all would have been kicked out of the instance and lost progress.
Yesterday (2016-03-08) one of the dailies was Ascalon vista viewer, I did not do it but I added it to my watchlist. Today it was still in the watchlist even though it was not one of today’s dailies (rather Orr vista viewer was the daily). Nonetheless, I still did it and was awarded a Chest of the Hero, and a point towards the current daily meta. I also got these same rewards from Orr vista viewer as expected.
It seems that one of yesterday’s dailies somehow carried forward to today and I got daily completionist from only doing two of the current dailies.
Food for thought – perhaps a hiccup with the dailies is the reason people in this thread have reported losing 10AP
The keybinds you are suggesting only need to be profession-specific (if you had two characters of the same profession you would likely use the same controls for both), and Rangers already have definable keybinds for pet management and pet combat toggle so perhaps some of the groundwork for this is already in place.
I too would definitely like to see something like this where every profession skill could be individually keybound, there are some of those F1-4 skills which I would like to set to be close at hand but they are different for certain professions.
As an aside, I would like an elementalist hotkey for overload current attunement.
Unfortunately not, the best you can do is look at the armour gallery and see what is the closest. You might get reasonably close there with Primitive Chestwraps and Inquest or Whisper’s Secret Leggings. Here is how it looks on my mini-norn.
I feel your pain though, I would like to have the same chest and wristguards that the Norn Kid NPCs do but it’s not available.
