whats hilarious is that I never had crashes on the normal client, 5 minutes in with 64bit and I get my first crash… ouch
The temporary workaround for me was that you dont attack the boss before the ground appears. When i attacked the boss instantly the ground would not re-appear. Thats the experience I got from finishing mine.
Other than that, it felt fairly glitchy but added a bit more challenge (:
why would they nerf it…? thats a horrible decision

I like the current state of the game. Majority of the people were just used to content being handed to them on a silver plate but this actually makes us work for it

This hero point system is just absurd.
First, each elite specialization needs too much points to be unlocked, really 60 to just unlock it and 400 to get everything?
Second, it’s not account bound… What the heck were you thinking?
Third, to get hero points you just need to grind, yes grind map completions, grind EOTM zerg…I’ve calculated that to unlock an entire elite specialization per character requires about 100 WvW levels and 2000 badges.
For people who has alts it’s just a suicide mission.
Anet and devs, you really need to tone down A LOT the hero points required.
no its actually good, you shouldnt be able to progress your character instantly but rather have to put work into it
what gw2 was lacking was character progression, this is one step into forward by anet, loving it
1. People already put work into progressing their characters, it was called map completion and both anet and you white knights are keen to devalue it.
2. Masteries were supposed to be the progression, not elite specs.

its rather that casuals keep whining that they need to actually put effort into character progression. Map completion is not part of character progression, it offers next to nothing for your character other than open waypoints

no, we already knew that hero points were going to be used to unlock the next specializations, that is the reason they introduced hero points in the first place
I bet you think raids will be bad too because ascended gear is recommended and that requires actual playtime instead of having everything given to you on login

400 is good enough, no reason to make class specific content instantly available but rather a way of character progression
I like the specialization of the guardian, just adjust the numbers and fix bugs and its going to be great
also note that its probably the vocal minority that complain, you can find similar threads in any class subforum
Are these crashes accompanied by the game’s crash reporting dialog? If so, please post the crash text found after clicking on “show details”. Please post them as attachments.
get blue screen so no way of knowing if a dialog appears, unless there is an error log for gw2 somewhere.
the blue screen error is as posted before, VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (igdkmd64.sys)
Windowed mode still works no problem
Currently the game sometimes crashes and causes a BSOD while on fullscreen mode with latest nvidia drivers 353.62.
temporary workaround: switch to borderless windowed mode
yeah im having similar issues except with more worth..i think the trading post isnt working..
6 second interval between casts of Overload + very weak 1.2k crits over a 5 second channel with what looks like a total of 10-14 hits wants a word with you.
Fresh Air crits for way higher and does more damage with other abilities.
what many of you still fail to realize, the numbers are still OPEN, they repeated it several times that all of this will need balance changes in terms of damage lol…

personally I never thought of using tornado either, it’s just there, thats all
yeah rangers do need some buffs as they dont bring as much to the table as other classes.

omg thif too op guys i play on my rangur and when i press skill 2 he just jump and cc me and 2 shot and i die, make range bigger plz, like 3500 range at least cus op thif kill me
//on a serious note, all classes have their situational advantages and disadvantages. The game around pvp is fairly balanced and all classes are more or less viable
