Me and a guy had a pretty heated discussion about this the other day. He was for a similar system as the OP. In his opinion it would base the entire market on demand rather than “market manipulators.”
I believe a system like this would punish sellers way to much and encourage buy orders only. Buy orders are the reason something like this will not work. Other games with a time limit didn’t have buy orders iirc. We disagreed because fundamentally I don’t think of the trading post as just a place to exchange gold for items but rather as something to be played for profit.
Could a economist major please shed his/her opinion on this?
Should we put a support ticket then? Has anybody’s tonic problem been fixed by this patch?
I’m guessing not because there are 4 on the trading post.
Confirm as well, are we going to be able to sell this? or at least let us know why we are having this problem?
I would like to know if precursors are affected by this update. We were just told that no scavenger hunt was being developed at this time but that precursors would be involved with the new open world reward system or did I mis-read that?
Can any dev please shed some light on this?
“(Not a bug according to Anet)”
Does anybody have a source for this?
Loving the game so far!
However because of the end game karma rewards I’m tempted to keep finding zergs farming for karma instead of playing all the wonderfully designed events in the world.
The antifarm code was a good step but its still easy to move on to the next big farm and alternate. The truth of it is that some of these events are really long. No matter how fun they are I still could of done several shorter events with the same amount of time with more rewards. I have to balance my time with rl wisely since I’m a busy father working full time.
I suggest making the duration of events factor into the reward making it worth our time and can be balanced against the easy farmable events.
Everybody who agrees please throw your support in this thread and maybe we will get a response!
Thanks!
Since headstart I’ve had around 40-60 fps but when I logged in a few hours ago I’m getting 5-8 fps max! Is anyone else noticing this?
Windows 7 (64 bit)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti
Driver 304.79
AMD FX-8120 Eight-Core Processor
EDIT: I realize now that some of you guys above me are having this problem.
UPDATE: Updated to the latest NVIDIA Drivers and I’m up to decent frames.
