I’m asking how is the damage applied. Is it bonus damage on hits or something else

How does this skill improve with power. In the wiki it says “Damages for 325 plus 0.0175 x Power.” and in the patch notes it says “Leeching Venoms trait: Increased the damage scale from power by 33%. Increased range from 325-400 to 325-425.”

I don’t know how that damage is applied can any 1 explain?
