Hey, I tried searching the forums to see if this topic was already posted and couldn’t come up with anything. Basically my question is: Are character names server specific like in WoW or are they universal?

I just don’t to run in any trouble getting my name again if I end up transferring.

Dank. That’s kind of upsetting to hear. There’s nothing that kills a game for me more than feeling pigeon holed into a position. GW2 Is far from doing that for me, but if stuff like this isn’t changed then I fear to think what would happen

Hello hello! I’ve been tampering with builds since I’ve started playing and one that has always interested me is a heavy daze/interrupt build.

Basically my question is; is halting strike a strong enough trait to add reliable damage to an interrupt build, to prevent such a build from becoming too supporty. Obviously I don’t intend on being a nuke with CC, but I didn’t want to make a build that can ONLY work with proper teamwork.

Also, some build suggestions would be nice, i’ve tried many different builds and haven’t found one in particular that I wish to really stick with.

Two-handed weapons should have 7 skills, one-handed should have 4

I would like to see something like this eventually. I mean, they would have to do something along these lines to keep the gameplay from getting stale, and it doesn’t require the cop-out of just bumping up the level cap. I’m sure that with the first expansion pack there will be slot-able weapon skills.

This also avoids the problem of just giving every profession access to every weapon, which I think personally would be problematic
