I would love a pistol or other mid-range mainhand weapon. The scepter really doesnt feel very useful for non-confusion/condition builds

I originally thought thieves were overpowered, then I learned to play.

I wish more people would do the same.

PErsonally, I think this is a horrible idea, pandering to the 1% of players who ran out of things to do already because they played 1000+ hours in a 2 month period.

ArenaNEt, you are going against your own stated design principles, and locking out content for a vast majority of players who just want to play and enjoy the game for what it is.

Ascended gear is a huge step in the wrong direction back toward the WoW/Everquest model of gear. Just add more cool looking legendaries, people have shown themselves more than happy to abandon gear inflation in favour of gear appearance alone.
