I haven’t been on in a few weeks due to some RL stuff, but as of 3 weeks ago the build in my signature was a lot of fun as a Greatsword build.

The main description in the post talks about it as a hybrid phantasm/support build, but there’s a part at the bottom that talks about solo play with it.

Take a look and give it a shot if it looks like something you’d like.

Thanks for the helpful links, but I’m personally looking for a Phantasm build, there’s much less button bashing involved and it feels more relaxed overall.

EDIT: I’m also wondering why nobody seems to get Greatsword Training when playing with a Greatsword, it simply doesn’t make sense to me, could somebody explain?

Hello there peeps, I recently returned from my long, long break from GW2, I took the decision to finally level a character all the way to 80 and the primary choice was my Mesmer, now that I have reached level 70 I feel rather uncomfortable with my current build.

I have roamed the forums for the past two or three days now searching for a viable Greatsword build, but most of them consist of using Mantras which I personally do not really enjoy using, so it would be great if anybody could find/create a build which is viable in both PvE and PvP, with decent damage and survivability.

Any help, tips and the like would be greatly appreciated for a “new” Mesmer, so to speak, thanks!

Same here guys, this is actually extremely dissapointing since I would really like to continue my personal story line, I was looking for the missing Rock Dog for about 30 minutes but to no avail, we could use some assistance regarding this issue.

This is getting quite frustrating, my apologies if it sounds that I am impatient or anything but I just wish to expirience the game properly, my ticket has been up since 08/31/2012.

Status has been critical for days now, the name of my ticket seems to have changed also, but there is nobody actually answering the ticket after more than two weeks. This will be my last post on this thread since I wish to give others a chance to get their ticket answered also, thank you and good luck to you all.

I find their running absolutely atrocious, and even worse when attempting to do jumping puzzles. I really wish to play one, but the running just puts me off.
