I’m posting this with my old account that got permabanned like a month ago for “RMT”, because my current account doesn’t have access to the forum now.
After my old account was banned I decided to buy a new one from the official website to continue playing so that I won’t miss the halloween event. The new serial code was bought on october 26. I have been playing this new account for about 3 weeks then it got suspended on november 22. I filed a ticket immediately and the support team told me that it’s actually a fraudulent purchase.
I went to the bank yesterday to check my credit card transaction and found that the $59.99 was refunded on november 8. My credit card is in good standing so I basically have no idea why this would happen.
And the support team even told me that they will not able to assist me with this issue and I’m locked out of the forum. It feels like Anet is accusing me for committing a crime. Obviously the support aren’t going to discuss with me any more, so I have to post it here.
Now I want to know if it’s possible for me to buy a new serial code to apply to my current account. And if I can, will I still be able to purchase it with this credit card?
I’ll attach my bank statement of the transactions if it’s needed. Thank you.

Calm down Kotik, now I’m told that since my account was terminated, I have to create a new one to continue playing, I don’t know if it’s the same case because mine was banned for real money trading/botting. Guess I’ll just request a refund

My account is terminated due to trading things for real money, which I haven’t, so I decided to buy a new code after waiting one week for the decision to be final. And today when I’m waiting for the respond for the stacking serial code thing, my friend told me that I’m “online”

I wonder how can anyone log in a terminated account, and for what?

my display name used to be Stefano.xxxx, it’s changed when I was trying to stack the serial code

Just got the reply from the Support.

To register you new serial code on top of the old one, you need to enter to the page of the Guild Wars 2 country where this code was bought and register it here. You need to say yes to an existing Account and provide your information to stack the code on top of the other.

What page is that? I can only find one register page that is register.guildwars2.com and there is no region selection.
Btw my code is bought from the buy.guildwars2.com

Does VPN count as a Third-Party Programs?

Several guidies and I using the same VPN service got permanently banned for real money trading, so I suggest you not use it. They probably ban people based on the ip address.

I can understand ArenaNet making mistakes, it happens. What I don’t understand is their incredibly byzantine customer support process. The way they treat honest customers is beyond unprofessional.

It has been 5 days since I sent in my ticket and have never once recieved any response from them for this issue. Gaile did mention that my ticket is in some sort of queue in the 3 days and older thread. Other than that I have been totally ignored. It is very frustrating and has totally changed my opinion of ArenaNet.

I use to think ArenaNet was one of the few good gaming companies, that isn’t the case anymore.

After a week of waiting, I got an “auto reply” from the customer service still saying that I was involve in real money trading. So I decided to buy a new serial code to continue playing because I don’t want to spend another week waiting for nothing. I’ve read from another post I can add a new code to my account

but when I do the exact same thing an error pop out says

The serial code you’ve entered is not valid for this region. Please apply the serial code to a valid account in the correct region.

So I wonder can I actually add a new code to my terminated account? If yes, will I have to wait another week for the customer service to fix it for me or there’s other option?

Your guild wars 2 account has been terminated for engaging in or assisting with gold or item sales for real-word money, which is a break of the user agreement and rules of conduct. This action is permanent.
