Anet is there any chance at all you can make this glider dyeable? Twp channeldye (one for blue waves and one for the electric arcs) would be greatly appreciated! Even one channel to change the blue waves would rule!

I had taken a break from GW2 during the last bit of season 1 and came back a few months later. Over time I have been picking up many of the rewards from the laurel vendor that I missed that were event only (Gas Mask, Zephyrite Helms, etc) but Scarlet’s Veil (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Scarlet's_Veil_Skin) has been missing. Is there any chance of this being added to the vendor list or some other way of acquiring since (as far as I can tell) all other achievement/event reward locked skins were added?

Probably because of cost. Four character slots and two name change contracts cost me over 50$

Doubtful- pretty sure that the devs have said that such a thing would be next to impossible because such things are hard coded in the game.

My advice is to just reroll now if you want that particular race/class combo. I’m sure you will reach 80 on your reroll toon before such a feature exists.

Reaching 80 isn’t as much of the problem of then redoing all the map completion, crafting etc.
Seems kind of silly to hardcode that data into the game. But even then it should be easy to change the variables that display your personal story since you don’t have to actually replay any of it (if you use the level 80 idea I posted).

Although even just allowing a profession change would work for 3 of my characters

Torn between buying character slots/renaming vs flat rerolling and losing my birthday stuff since I am a bit of a collector as well.

Is there any future chance of being able to reroll your character’s race and profession as a gem service? I have bounced in and out of playing the game since launch but now playing steadily. However, I am now unhappy with several of the race/profession choices I made back around launch and would like to change them, but would rather not have to regrind 5 classes back to 80 as well as most of my crafting professions, mapping, and birthdays.

I can understand some of the hesitation in doing this (namely personal story) but with certain restrictions on the service such as: must be level 80, completed personal story, completed the personal story of the race you want to switch to (all the way to finishing Zhaitan) and/or others. You could then be given a simple multiple choice menu to select the new personal story path you “took” sans rewards and all skills you unlocked would be refunded as skill points (so not to gain an advantage in the Mastery system in HoT).

I agree. The skins are way to hard for a game aimed at casual players. If anything, the track to get those skins is aimed at Korean/Japanese style grinding. I am also in the camp of picked Radiant arms because only partial set was out and at this point I would much rather have the Hellfire set. I wonder if I can file a ticket to get that unlock changed….

I would say make a full set available every 10k AP or so, much more obtainable for a casual player.

The idea is fairly simple:

To prevent Black Lion merchant tab overload. After a set amount of time (I was thinking initially a year) the Black Lion supply has run out and is pulled from the vendor making room for newer sets. In exchange, the entire set of weapon skins becomes available for 10-20$ worth of gems (account bound on acquire similar to Zenith).

This gives people a chance to pay gold, buy/farm keys and otherwise earn them through current means, but once the time period is up it allows those who started playing much later after a skin set came out to afford them at a reasonable price (instead of half the cost of a precursor or so per skin) while avoiding merchant clutter.
