I really like how you guys have a quick target option for characters that put wells on the ground with staff’s like necros and elementalits with stakitten , the problem is even though it’s fast, it could be improved by holding down the #2 staff skill on a necro for example showing the aoe area and when you release the button it applies the effect, this would give the best of both worlds and would eliminate double clicking for those who want to target.
If this is applied a big your welcome to all the engineers in advance who grenade!
Op I cant believe you left out engie >.> But I would say necro is possibly th best 1v1 followed by engie..cause im bias that way.
I’m terribly sorry, I added Engineers to my original post. I heard they won a recent tournament so they must be good.
To everyone else, thanks for all the great input, it seems my initial theory that thieves and mesmers being the best one v one classes was correct based on popular opinion. I’m shocked that guardians stacking toughness and heals do not rank higher based on being so hard to beat down.
Why make a Guardian if you have an 80 Warrior? I am just curious what advantages the Guardian class has over warriors and if there is any real advantage of making one for those that have a max level Warrior already?
What is the best 1 vs 1 class? Mesmer, Thief or perhaps the Guardian Class? I have read all though the forums and each class think’s it’s possibly the best and worst depending on who you ask. Assuming each profession is really well played and is of equal gear what is the dominant 1 vs 1 class?
My guess: Thief>Mesmer>Guardian>Engineer>Warrior>Necro>Ranger>Elemental
Hi guys! I was curious about how warriors in general compare to Guardians. I have a level 80 Guardian and enjoy playing him. I made a warrior the other day and have leveled him mostly with axes to level 15. My question is what can a warrior do better than a guardian in the current state of the game? They both seem like fun classes but wondering if it’s worth it to level a warrior to 80 when they are so similar.
I’ll bet warriors can’t easily take on 7 mobs a level higher than them and walk away with full health after every fight. But I suppose if they kill way faster 1 or 2 mobs it must even out.
Are Necro’s the most OP levelers??! I made a Necro a week ago and have been playing on and off to level 30, I run with a staff in one slot and the Scepter/Dagger combo in the other. I typically try to pull as many mobs as I can while im running around, sometimes up to 6 and then drop massive AOE with both combos while kiting and everything drops fast! Seems to be the easiest class to level.
How difficult is it to craft Twilight now? I have just come back to the game, haven’t really played since last October and I was wondering is it more difficult due to in game inflation to craft Twilight? Also are there any really good guides on how to get started? My Guardian seems to want one
I am having a hard time deciding which class to run with and wanted the opinion of you fine folks as to which class speced properly is harder to beat one on one in exotic gear. I keep seeing allot of conflicting reports. Some guardians say they can face roll two thieves at once, others say guardians die to thieves due to a lack of burst damage. Just looking for some clarification.
