Getting the past two days. I use comcast in michigan. And yes, i’ve reset everything several times.

I’m on comcast in michigan as well and i’m having the same issues. Reset night last night was impossible. I had issues with video yesterday but it seems to be ok today. Is there anyway i can test my ping in gw2?

The only time the rating matters is at the end of the week. Give the matches some time to play out before freaking out about rating. I just checked the scores and TC is back ahead of FA.

Hi Necro board,

I’m thinking of starting a necro and want to build it for WvW. I’m mostly planning on running with the zerg. What are my options as far as traits, gear, weapons, and skills?

First off, how do you plan on playing in WvW? Do you plan on running with the zerg or going roamer/havoc?

I would replace either hammer or gs with a staff. That way you get symbol of swiftness, staff 1 which is basically a loot bag machine, empower which helps your teammates, and line of warding for cc. If you want to do more crowd control keep the hammer but if running in and slashing everything is more your style, keep the greatsword.

As far as traits I would move 10 points from the virtues line to valor so you can get Altruistic Healing (AH). You seem to be set up to dish out boons so taking advantage of that by traiting for AH is the way to go.

My movements will be completely kitten!

DB and TC both have strong cases over who “won” the matchup. Using a soccer type score with 1st=3 2nd=1 and 3rd=0 the points would be:

TC: 9 Points
DB: 7 Points
FA: 4 Points

If you’re measure is stability and consistency, FA definitely came out on top

Thanks for the input. I’ve been playing around with both myself and I’m actually pretty happy keeping the GS/Staff combo and my current traits.

TC has been doing well over the last couple of hours. Hopefully a sign of things to come.

I currently have a GS/Staff combo ankittenhinking of switching to a Hammer/GS combo because, frankly I just want to hit stuff. Currently I’m speced 0/0/30/30/10 and am in knight’s. I’m thinking of going 10/0/30/30/0 and going over to soldiers. Thoughts?

I just killed 3 of your Dolyaks in EBG. Got my daily and monthly. Their sacrifice was not in vain.

So right now the game is installing on my computer and I’m really interested in WvW and see that as the main thing I want to do in the game. I’d like to get on a server which has a really active community and modest queue times.

Also I’ve been reading about the races and classes and was thinking of going with a Norn Guardian or Ranger. Any thoughts or suggestions on how to spec these characters and contribute to my world’s efforts? I’m more than willing to be a team player.
