Give them times, screenshots, and quotes (or other examples). They will investigate & take appropriate action, although they might not able to tell you anything more than the investigation was completed.

Thank you for the advice! Seems to be all good since blocking them, hopefully this is the end of it and I wont have to bother support. However, if it does start happening again I have more than enough mail from the person to send through to support.

How are they harrasing you after you blocked they cant even speak or mail you?

That’s not what I’m asking. I know they cannot mail, chat or whisper me.

If you actually read my post, I just wanted to know further information such as what they can and cannot see from their end

I believe blocking someone does render you ‘offline’, but they will be able to see your character in-game.

Hi all,

I’m having an issue with a someone harassing me (both irl and in-game) and was wondering what the blocking behaviour is in GW2?

I have looked through the forums and wiki and have only been able to find some clear answers to my questions, but not all! I would love some help.

1. Will blocking someone make me appear offline on their friends list? I have been setting my status as invisible to stop them from following me everywhere, however I don’t want to have to do this forever because I do want my other friends and guildies to see when I’m online.

2. Will they be able to see my character in-game?
