After the stream, here are some of my reflections / suggestions:
- Each overflow of the map should have a number
So ppl can find each other in the appropriate Channel in a vocal (because we have dedicated WvW vocal for the server).
- The edges of the mist should have the most achievements possible to make like:
kill the guard, capture the camps, capture the sentry, kill the supply caravans (replace by killing the generator?), capture the mercenary camps
Because, for example a player in a high density server playing only during prime time, besides not being able to play, will NEVER enter Eternal Battleground to accomplish certain achievements.
- The function “join this map” should be possible
What I mean is: when you are in a group in different overflow of the same map (like in PvE), you should be able to join your mates by right clicking on their names and “join their map”
So friends, guild mates can easily gather.
or join the specific number of the overflow (choose in a list?)
- The opponents should not represent the actual match up
As soon as the limit of players per map is reached, this server creates a new overflow against any other server that reaches his population limit.
So they will rarely be an imbalance, or a server alone in a overflow. (or way less)
I hope my guild will be selected for testing

I expect more like:
Get the buff, Spawn kill with sieges
As you know, if you have the buff, you will receive a point for your server
My opinion is that it is too much powerfull
Because:
a camp = 5 points = 5 stumps
a tower = 10 points = 10 stumps
So the question is how many stumps do you normally do during 15 minutes (when you get the points for your territory)?
Dont forget you can multiply the effect by having multiple buff in the different maps
So what will do the players?
What give more points?
According to me, the buff and the stumps.
So the blob (not the roamers as intended) will stay at the center of the map and kill/ stump ppl. It is more important than a tower even a castle.
And in my opinion, the pervers effect is that a server without buff will not leave the spawn or their fortress. They will avoid by any cost any fight, any confrontation.
The ppl will be yelled at because they give points by dying to the ennemy.
So the buff will discourage ppl to die, so to fight.
It will discourage ppl to move in small number because you are more vulnerable.
So my suggestion is to remove the stump / buff.
Concerning the other buff (+50 stats), you should change it by an other buff like magic find, + Xpm, gold, karma or reduce cost of armor repair. I think it is motivating enough.
Creating an unblance is never good.
So it was a small psychology for a player
I expect the worst as a result of the stump buff

I dont understand
It forces you to be a 500 crafter certainly on 2 or 3 disciplines
It does nt make a crafter important by the business he can make
but it forces you to be one
you can not help each other in guilds
“I craft you a sword > You craft me my bow”
Can I remind also the philosophy that you can do any content you want in GW2 and you will get your gear?
Ofc you will get the materials by different content
But you WILL have to be a 500 crafter in every discipline to get your weapons !!
or try your luck in a rare loot

and i’m sure you gave Vizunah true moments of PvP pleasure.
killing vizu blob when the commander run back, going out of combat and porting back is not fun… not fun at all
and fighting under the siege is not fun toomaybe next time you will fight outside …
Trust me Vizunah prefer to fight outside in fields
Ofc when you attack in mass, we are obliged to defend our positions with all what we got (sieges,…).
The PU Vizu Blob is always roaming attacking when he can.
And a commander considering losing his battle should always retreat.
Losing a battle diminushes the PU moral of our troop.
Ofc he ports back. We dont give our bag for nothing.
Edit: Or maybe the commander got the information that a fort was attacked.
Even maybe on another map
He had to pull back
So you have no idea why he teleports back
But I am pretty sure he had a good reason

So let’s get this straight, Vizunah basically go afk for half the matchup, appear for the second half of the week and then wipe the floor with us?
Basically, yes!
But with great efforts from Vizunah’s part.
We start major attacks (and to wake up) only on Thuesday’s night.
We profit from the 15th of August day off also in France.
We got unlucky with the server reset and destroyed 20 Omega Golems. (on Thuesday)
And some ppl of my guild fight several times all night long + morning (and more) to maintain our forteress. I remember some epic fights on the lord with some Omega (in defense).
So GG for SFR to make this Matchup so uncertain.
And Go Vizunah !!
Have you consider a permanent access to the Royal terrasse?
I think ppl dont like temporary stuff (like Banker golem,…)
I would pay like 800 gems for a permanent access to the royal terasse
And Deluxe gw2 owner shouldnt get it?

Why does a dead pet can res so quickly a dead ranger underwater in spvp?
Yes You receive more points by zerging (estimate)
In my exemple the opposing team didnt get 300
and receive twice more glory

My problem is only that zerging (not focusing on objectives) give you more glory
Arenanet gives a bad exemple
and twist the purpose of winning a match
After an other match, I made the conclusion to gain more glory in sPvP, you should ignore the objectives and focus on zerging.
Here is an exemple:
The losing team got more glory because this team was zerging and killing the enemies while the winning team focused on the objectives.
Some possible solutions
- Raise the winning % glory bonus
- Add a “defend the point” glory gain
- Diminish the killing glory acquired
I personnaly hate when people are zerging and ignoring the objectives
The situation is broken and I hope Arenanet will fix the situation.
PS: I never read the forums, if this topic was already discussed, what was the conslusions?
Does Arenanet do something about it?
