=/ that is disappointing I don’t really want to spend all my ecto on making a support set because then I wont be able to use it to solo but it sounds like that’s all I can do unless I reroll.
I have been using a staff for almost the entire game now but I hear D/D is a lot more fun and I want to switch to it. The problem is that I cannot even imagine going into melee range with mobs with how squishy I am right now. I have enough mats and gold to make a full set of exotic gear and I was wondering what stats I should get on it to be the most effective? Should I I stack toughness and some vit? Also is it more effective for a d/d ele to go with condition damage or crit damage?
I have used 50 charges of black lion salvage kits to salvage 70+ rare and exotic gear and I know it’s not 100% because there was some times I did not get any ecto but I have say that though I did not take an exact count I am pretty sure it was more than a 50% success rate in getting ectoplasm.
I have enough mats to make my full set of exotic gear right now with tailoring but before I do I want to make sure that I am making the best gear I can for damage output. I am most familiar with using staff as I have been using it since I was around level 25 but I would be willing to switch to a different weapon if it does more damage. I have been mostly focusing on power and condition damage but I saw some people saying that a condition damage elementalist won’t do much damage in groups because of the condition cap on mobs. So I guess what my question is what stats/weapon’s would be the best if I like both running dungeons with groups and soloing mobs in 80 areas?
I was just wondering which on is better for getting ectoplasm. On the cash shop it says that the black lion kit has the best chance to obtain rare materials but it’s tool tip says it has a “10% change to obtain rare materials” I figured this was a typo but I wanted to know if anyone knows the actual percentage. Or is it really only 10%? because I have been using them to dismantal level 70+ rare gear and I have been getting ectoplasm at a far higher rate than 10%, more like 60%.
