Well I have to say. I’ve found the event exceptionally boring to the point that I’ve only attempted to get the storybook Back item.

I loved the artwork and everything done with Lions arch, I just wish I didn’t have to always be running through it to get anywhere and enduring a 3 – 5 min loadscreen to goto one cap city to another.

The History of the mad king / Back item quest really bored me, I expected a “Mad king” not a steriotypical saturday-morning-kids-cartoon crazy, the quests as well were really annoying to do, since I’ve been casually playing since the 3 day headstart I’ve only got a lvl 36 and I was frustraited to high heaven trying to get through sparkfly fen and Harathi Highlands. I thought this was one of the reasons high-level characters were downgraded, so events could take place for lower levels?

So between that and the stupid EU starting times for the Acts, it’s been an inconsistant mess to me, feels horribly rushed with crap skins and obvious money making Black Lion Chests ( It was one of the main reasons I left Star Trek Online. )

I do Sincerely hope that the future events are alot better, concidering how soon this event was to the release of the game. As I mentioned, it felt rushed and I personally felt no drive to attend anything the event had on because of the way the event was set up, especially with a “low-level” character.

Thoroughly dissapointed this year but keep up the good work on the rest of the game. Definitly liking that so far!

I don’t know if it’s anything to help your problem but doesn’t GW2 ( Like most other games ) run on the Windows settings. So surely setting it in Windows would help your situation ?

I’m Having a Problem with “The Tribune’s Call” Pt3

I play with my Partner so there is two of us in the instanced area but we’ve had this problem with another character on my partners account two weeks ago, so I was under the impression it would’ve been fixed by now.

Anyone offer any help / advice on this please?

I’m having a problem buying gems off of the store. I can get to the menu to change the amount/cost and the method of payment, (Paypal in this case) I can enter my details, get sent to paypal -and- login to paypal perfecly fine. It’s just after that, when I confirm the paypal payment and get sent to the GW2 website it always comes up with an error.

It’s been this way for a number of hours and neither mine, nor my GF’s details will work on either mine or my GF’s pc / account ( we’ve both tried both of our details on two different accounts and two different PC’s ).

I can’t seem to find any issues around GW2 forums or the REDDIT so I’ve resorted to posting, lord forgive me !
