Trading Post:
First off the Trading Post as with MANY other I feel you should be able to preview items from it and filter by armor class.
Also REMOVE the ability to offer at less than the item can be purchased for and purge all current post for less than the item can be purchased… this is a major waste of server database space and should be implemented.
Servers:
The servers don’t seem to be able to handle a LARGE group of people in a small area. Everything lags out even with a REALLY GOOD internet connection.
Event should NOT take place in the CITIES this was a problem in GW1 and is now a problem in GW2… there are too many peaople trying to participate in too small of an area during these that normal task cannot be done. If it must be in a city keep the events away from major areas. Personally I hate the events as it makes many players waste time hanging in the city not really participating in normal gameplay.
Cross server grouping… this needs to be implemented and not just for dungeons. Forget about this whole switching servers. Make it so we can jump from server to server and join up with anyone at our leasure like in GW1… it seems with the release of GW2 all the bad parts of GW1 were kept and the good things were tossed aside. I should be able to play the game with anyone and everyone who bought it in every section of the game.
Maps:
The maps for Guild Wars 2 are very similar in design to GW1 in layout and design. They don’t have the flow a persistent world game is supposed to. This is basically a many map “instanced” persistant world. That is not what any of us were looking forward to. I would have loved to see the world transition much more like other games loading as I moved rather than cramming a ZONE into my video card while I am there.
Also the tabs for underground need to be worked on so you can see in caves you have been in.
Graphics:
Stop telling me I have a hardware issue when my driver is NEWER than the Beta you are trying to push on me. And why would you ever suggest anyone run a beta in the first place.
Work on th clipping… I have seen less clipping issues in much less supported games.
Wiki:
It’s almost useless. Get the info updated… by the DEVS.
Mystic Forge:
Release the kitten recipes. This mystery crap and having to throw a bunch of stuff at it to find them is bullcrap.
Glitches:
Learn how to test things before you add them to game. The amount of broken content getting released into game is rediculous. We should not be seeing things like this. If you can’t find where it’s broke and fix it REMOVE IT and quickly.
Classes:
Stop messing with skill that are realeased. If it is released to the game leave it the hell alone unless it’s broke. I don’t want to see nerfing of skills like in GW1 because someone found a way to do a farm that someone else complains they can’t. This game is equal to all if you work for it. Everyone can do the same thing if they put in the effort.
New Content:
Some of the newer content seem to be a bit overpowered as it can take down my elementalist almost instantly. I thought the game was ment to be soloable like in GW1… this is a bit annoying but, I actually find the challenge good.
Dungeons:
Need group finder or shut off the spamming if the person has “LFG, LF2M…” in the text. Building a group outside of guilds can be a pain.
Guilds:
Add the ability to Guild Chat and choose the guild you want to talk to. If it’s done tell us how.
UI
Fix the autoloot it works on my system when my friend signs in on his user, works on his user and comp too. It will not work on my user on either system unless I turn it off and on every time I login. Then it only partially works.
Oh and a Logout to Character Select would be nice too.
Also I agree switch the game back to using the in-game sign in…. loose the loader for everything but patching.
Closing
Many of the other feature implemantations others recommended would be nice too.
I am sure I’ll have more but if even some of this would be addressed I’d be much happier.
