okay no sense in crating my own topic so I just write here where no one will care for it, but I have to get this off my mind. Speaking of wich, “hearts and minds”, the campaign was disappointing to this point, not a lot of choices, short and repetitive missions and I had to repeat several quests due to bugs like “next objective does not pop up”. Okay, no problem but what is UP with the bossfight. I can not for the love of me imagine a bunch of playtesters go through this instance and giving thumbs up like there was nothing wrong. There is a lot wrong!
First of all, no, it is not fun. The fight at the end has a lot to offer, different mechanics great music (as always), a lifely vibe with all the characters appearing and I love the design of the entrance to the instance. But after siking almost 8 hours into this without a fair chance of beating it, I give up and wait for fixes and that is sad at least, because it clearly states how unfinished the expansion is. What is up with the penalty box after dying? I found it annoying when I encountered the mini bosses before mordremoth, but since I was able to beat them on my second try (after going to wvw and repairing my armor, which is just silly) I found it to be an okay if questionable challenge having to overcome them in one run. The fight against the big uninspired creature at the end is different. Since the portals pop up at unreachable locals (suicide – restart), the gusts for evading death from his bs attack don’t work but twice for me (insta death – restart) and him jumping for and back in his phases (????) I ended up with a broken set of armor, having to repeat the whole thing again, knowing it won’t get better and knowing it is not my fault. I love a good challenge, but having to keep my rage and frustration in bay is just not what I want in my video ga,es.
There is no second of all I’m done for now, way to ruin a promising journey.
