Guild Wars 2

I see the potential on the mace skills for warrior, but since it is rather easy to deal with stuns, the mace is completely out of the sPvP scene. Even in WvW the mace is very unreliable because sword has a better block, and the single target skills on mace are rather lackluster. Mace skill 5 (Tremor) is so easy to dodge, you can dodge it by just moving out of the way, skill is too slow.

When is the mace going to get a buff for Warriors?

1 second map chat delay in sPvP, and 2-5 second skill delay with rubberbanding on movement skills. Game is unplayable.

I meant that I haven’t overclocked it from the base clock that it came with.

I put the game in compatibility mode for Windows 7 and also have been running it as admin and I haven’t had any crashes yet. If it does crash I’ll re install the graphics drivers and such.

I’m pretty positive that I am currently running Windows 8.1 drivers, I’ve had PC problems before where I was on the Windows 8 forums for help, reinstalled/clean formatted/repaired my PC only to figure out it was hardware related (Not strong enough PSU). I’ve fixed that issue and I’ve clean installed my graphics drivers many times.

Is it possible that Guild Wars 2 is just not compatible with my system specs? I’ve seen a lot of people complain about issues with GW2 while on Windows 8.1 PCs. This is the only game that gives me any issues whatsoever. My beefed up modded Skyrim doesn’t even give me half the crashes this game does.

I went from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 using an 8.1 disk. Where would I find the 8.1 drivers? I do all the updating through Geforce Experience.

Game is getting “Graphical Crashes” from what a pop up report is telling me. I very rarely get it in WvW, and I get it everyday in sPvP maps. I’m running the latest drivers, I’ve tried rerolling to previous drivers and that didn’t work. After a crash I’ll sometimes get a message saying that my graphic driver has stopped responding and has recovered. I’ve tried using the GW2 repair fix and that didn’t help whatsoever, I’ve also never had this issue until I upgraded to Windows 8.1 from Windows 7.

CPU: Intel i5 4670k @ 3.5Ghz (Not overclocked)
GPU: EVGA Geforce GTX 770 SC Edition (Not overclocked)
RAM: 8GB

I have also tried to restrict FPS, turn down graphics, V-sync on/off, playing in windowed mode, fullscreen windowed, and fullscreen. None of which have reduced the frequency of the crashes.
I’ve run burn tests on my GPU with almost every app out there, burn tests on my CPU, memtests on my RAM (For 36 straight hours), and everything is working as it should be. Computer is also up-to-date with all windows updates.

It also seems to get worse and worse the longer it stays unfixed

I play on a pretty good gaming laptop, with a high end dual-band router, I also started to experience this issue only starting a few days ago. It extends all the way from WvW, PvE, and SPvP. It’s in every map, every server, everywhere. It happens anywhere from 1 minute to 20 minutes for me.

I’ve already ruled out any problems with the hardware of this rig, the only problem I can think about is that it’s Windows 8, and MAY not be fully compatible with Guild Wars 2.

The other thing I can think about is some problem on ArenaNet’s end because I never once DC’ed from this game since the small patch a few days ago.

I hope this gets fixed soon because I can’t spend all day DC’ing and lagging out, it makes SPvP and WvW impossible, and that’s all I do.

After the October 11th update and the reset of WvW. MAJOR bugs popped up.

The map doesn’t load properly at all, sometimes the map will be TYRIA with the four WvW maps scattered all over the place. Sometimes my main Borderlands doesn’t even load.

By that I mean, there’s no Waypoints, the map (when in it) shows that it’s in the VERY bottom right corner of the full map (when it’s actually the top map), and as I mentioned before, sometimes the WvW map is actually Tyria, with all four WvW maps with no Waypoints at all.

Am I the only one with this problem? Cause a lot of the people in the main Borderlands don’t seem to have any of the problems I’m having.

Bump. I want a reply to this, it’s still going on and is EXTREMELY annoying.

We were raiding up a Tower for about 2 hours, tried once and got ambushed, tried the second time, and successfully got it, yet I never recieved ANY reward from it, and I made Rams, helped take the gates down, killed people, assisted on killing the Keep Lord and many Veteran’s, I even soloed one Vet, yet I got NOTHING?

As the night went on it got worse, not getting rewards for raiding camps, killing dolyaks, or helping the Quaggan’s, I even logged out fully and tried again, still didn’t help.

Not to mention that the rendering is failing and not showing people most of the time.
