Sea of Sorrows is better.
Gates of Madness makes me think of maniacal clowns throwing acid pies. Sea of Sorrows just makes me think of sad puppies. Look at the sad puppy dog eyes…go ahead, I dare you.

In his defense Sweetiepie, he also mentioned Kaineng, right after the SoS paragraph…
And yet again I am put in my place by a member of JQ. I kid. I just realize in WvW my experience usually is, “Oh look a JQ player…” “return to waypoint?”

You see all these nice posts about “close community”, “great place to be”, “join us in our efforts”. Tons of sugarcoating for a simple message:
“We win in WvW by outnumbering the opponent. Join us so our advantage gets even bigger.”
SoS is recruiting. Really? The No1 server that has won all matchups in the last 2 months bar one (and usually without much trouble). What are you trying to achieve? Build HoD 2.0? We already had a completely broken T1 competition before, it was fun for neither side.
Kaineng recruiting while they 600+ curbstomp their opponents? Really? Are those doors too vicious for you to handle? Need more help with them?
Now, it would be bearable if people were actually honest and straight out admitted that they are in for the win, and will do whatever it takes (fun side note: The servers that get bandwagooned to by people who value the win most, also have the highest numbers of hackers on their sides. Remember BG when they first went up to T1 …).
However, all the sugary “community” sales pitch sounds exactly like that: The attempt by some win-hungry players to dress their selfishness into words that will attract others to ensure their own easy victory without having to fight.
I hope you all get what you deserve: Months and months of unbalanced and boring WvW.
You say “…all the recruitment threads” but then focus on SoS? So you are just appalled by SoS recruiting, or am I reading this wrong?

You know to stay on top it makes more sense to recruit than to sit back and wait for our players to get burnt out and start falling freestyle like so many servers before us.
I didn’t see too many people complaining when JQ guilds were recruiting on SoS a few weeks back. It makes sense, we need to recruit, and when you complain by saying, “It lacks class to recruit when you steam roll to victory” it just reflects poorly upon you.
As Wotah said, It’s a game people! Have fun, and look forward to rolling us as JQ is prone to do!
If you fight at the edge of one, you can roll into the water and get a second heal. I like that, and it has saved me a couple times.
I have a story to tell guys, forgive me if it goes long but I think it proves there is 2 v 1 going on in T1. I am on SoS and I was with a group of about five heading toward Faith Leap supply came on the SoS map. I was a bit ahead when I arrived, and it was currently owned by JQ. When I arrived I saw two groups fighting, one mostly rangers the other mostly warriors I think. As I watched, each was tearing into the other with obvious disdain and neither seemed to notice me…at first.
I must have stood too close because suddenly they seemed to see me, and both turned in mass toward me! I tried to back up, but too late. I was overtaken quickly, but thankfully my fellow SoS players came to my rescue and I was resurrected. I’m telling you, the Centaurs and the Skritt double teamed me! It all happened so fast that I do not have a screenshot, but please believe, 2 v 1 DOES happen in T1.
We aren’t always drunk in vent.
TFO must REALLY be making a name for themselves if a person feels pride in ganking one of our members!
Eh its not a gank when its 3 v 1 and you have the 3… or when its 3 on 6 and you have the 6…
I see a trend here regarding using factual numbers… “7 pushed out 70” “He ganked ONE of our people” etc…
I also see a trend in the level of class with mom jokes… I am getting a better understanding of who you all are now, which will allow me to have more fun in our future encounters… which is what the game is all about. TY!
I admit, saying “ganking ONE of our members” was incorrect on my part. But I stand by my comment that TFO must be making a name for themselves if you feel the need to brag about killing our members, even taking screenshots and posting it on the forums. We must have made you annoyed or angry in the days before if we are now a target and a mark of pride to beat.
I also do not like how others that have commented in this forum feel a need to take us to task if we return smack talk with smack talk.
I look forward to meeting you in further battles this coming week, and while NSP seems to continuously win the numbers games, when TFO and ANV and other guilds on our server work together, we have a blast both zerging and keeping towers and keeps.

Constructive critique? Where was the constructive critique? In the OP post he brags about taking out TFO members at the camp…he was talking smack. We talked smack back.
What is with all the anger? I guess from now on we can only say things like “Woah, you got us, great job! <3 <3 <3”

Had a really fun time working with everyone defending our little keep in EB. NSP kept pounding the walls with trebs and swarming in. We held for hours. Epic battles last night. Hats off to NSP groups for the battles. Great work overall by TFO, enjoyed working with you guys last night. Fun times working with a lot of people/guilds I had not seen on these maps before.
That was a fun epic battle! I was telling a friend in real life about it, and he is thinking about upgrading his computer so he can join in the fun!
whomever it was last night defending the final eastern keep in NSP borderlands, you gave us a hell of fight and put up an amazing defense. even after we bled you guys dry, somehow you still held on for what was about 2hours.
you also need to deliver my respects to whomever was manning your mortars in there. they are one hell of a shot.
There were a lot of people from various guilds, but a large part of the people were from TFO. We loved how you all came out to try and stop our usual running around and capping only to move on. We were determined to hold that keep even though we were at the inner circle with most of our walls missing. You gave as good as you got, but we held it!
Fights like that make WvWvW a blast, thank you!
