Guild Wars 2

It would be very interesting indeed, it’ll encourage alot of cooperations with guild members instead of follow the commander or follow the zerg.

*WvsW airship battles. Now picture you go to wvsw, and you see airships flying around shooting at each other, landing down and bombing castles and keeps. It’ll add more content, also through this method, airships can be build able and also controllable, so you can fly it around the world. depending on the tier of the airship, decides the quantity of players that can go it, the mobility of the airship and the weapons of the airship.

Also, seeing an airship crash, when yer on the land, will be a spectacular experience to behold.

Okay Heres my idea. Guild Housing on Airships?

Now think about it? Plenty mmos have guild houses, guild castles a place to hang out for guilds; its very common.

Imma bullet point my ideas down about this Guild Airship.

Logic of Guild Ship
*Free Zone Travel – The beauty of having an airship, which guilds will strive for is how useful a guild ship can be. (At this process, there will be a button to go to the guild ship in which ever zone you are, than you’ll be able to waypoint to any destination without cost. It’s very useful, and don’t argue about way point being a gold sink, it doesnt really help the economy, plus only guilds with enough influence can afford a ship which will motivate more players to get influence points for their guilds so its win/win. Guild members can get influence two ways, working for it, or buying it with gold.)

*Portable Hub – A portable hub, so you can click to your guild ship, you’d be than ported to your ship, where you can venture around the area, that is all customized by choice of the player. There will be Guild Venders and a banker. We’ll leave Trading Post alone from Guild Ship(Unless you can buy Trading Post with influence with the ship for a short 2 day duration so you never have to venture to lions arch again.) Anyways Portable Hub will allow guild players to have more interaction, a relax zone, and simple place to gather and just a very fun time with the guild + motivate guild social interaction.

*Influence Cost – Now think influence cost should justified the airships usefulness. Free Waypoint zones? omghees! Must get guild airship!!! —-Sorry you need to get a certain amount of influence for your guild to get the ship, but there will be different tier of ships which will provide more end game content, cuz people will always want to get the most expensive ship, or a ship cheap enough for small time guilds for them to have a good time.

*Cosmetic – Guildies have the choice to design their ship interior as they see fit, depending on the tier of the ship the shell of the ship will look standard except for the emblem that will be crested on the ships colors(Balloon). In the trailer of GW, showing Lions Arch, there was Airships!!! flying around LA! from what i saw, LA look bustling with life with airships flying around, it made it look like LA was the city where everything had life into it; when i reach the game, there was none!! except there were airships in straits of devastation, so dont say the technology isnt there. Have airship animations all around Tyria!!!! to keep the zones looking spectacular, just imagine a newbie player running around Queensdale, and he sees and airship, how much would he aspire to ride on one. (its been done around straits of devastation, but it’ll be so much better to have it around the whole world of Tyria.

*Gold Sink – Well we removing one thing which is waypoint travel cost, but this is only exclusive for people who owns a guild ship. We’ll be adding a unique gold sink for this airship, the cost of petrol/gas for the airship to keep a float which will cost gold or influence.

*Bright Future – For the next expansions, if there are continent expansions, airship and asura portal is the way to go!!! guildies have the pleasure to airship travel, rest can just use asura portals. I know this is harsh for players who have no guilds, but this game is called Guild Wars for a reason.

Gimme some feedback, the technology is already there, one of the main storylines called “Eye of Zhaitan returns” or something like that, where you get to be inside a flying airship. So dont say it isnt possible.

Will there be anything Mystic Chest for the upcoming update? They seem to fix the problem of overstock and should be an option for the a majority of overstocked mats in the Trading Post. I just want a confirmation if there will be any Mat Sinkers related for the up coming patch?

Edit: Can any one also explain why the Mystic Chest was removed from the latest update?
