Guild Wars 2

It’s not just an issue of personal preference. Some people literally NEED a controller. I’ve been playing GW2 since it came out (just hit my GW 8th birthday on Halloween), but recently had a spine injury & can no longer use a mouse & keyboard for more than a few minutes at a time. Had to start playing MMOs with built-in controller support (FF14, DC). So sad… GW2 seems perfect for controllers, not having thousands of action bars overloaded with skills and consumables. I don’t understand why our only option is questionable 3rd-party software installation, followed by tedious configuration? If the strip clubs have wheelchair ramps, I think GW2 should support game controllers.

It bugged for my group… cleared it with 5, 3 left. Remaining 2 of us smashed EVERYTHING, no achievement. Spent 45 mins making sure, no help. We reset it, then the 2 of us smashed everything in phase 1… had the achievement in 5 mins. Guardian staff skill #1 made it easy.

Not sure if completing the instance keeps achievement from getting finished, or if having people leave affected it. Either way, it’s fast & easy to do while the instance is in progress. If you can’t get it, reset it.

WEEKS later, guild controls STILL BROKEN.

Unable to:
- Upgrade guild (learn emblem, bank, etc.)
- Set rank privileges/access (Screenshot taken 9-18)
- Promote members
- Set MotD

Guild controls are STILL BROKEN. As guild leader, I can’t do these simple things:

Purchase upgrades for the guild (emblem, bank, etc.)
Promote members
Modify rank privileges
Modify Message of the Day

This is GUILD Wars. Why are so many guilds broken & it isn’t getting fixed (or at least being addressed)? I realize there’s no subscription, but seriously… this isn’t right.

Guild leader controls are broken… cannot change access levels, promote members, research guild upgrades, etc. Been at least 3 days now.

My guild controls are also broken… registered with support so I could report it outside of the bug report option (which will not get you any reply). I’ll hit up the merged topic too, but they’re putting too much in there. I want to make sure this specific issue gets addressed. My guild can’t start researching any upgrades until this is fixed. Going into WvW doesn’t fix this specific bug, but it may help with your issues being unable to represent or gain Influence… FYI. So, bump here for the broken Guild Leader options.
