Wow=) Seems to me potential guildies are at a premium these days, Ive gotten ALOT of responses between the forums/in game mail forgive if I dont respond to everyone individually.
We are looking over our options at this point thanks for the invites, GW2 has for sure one of the friendlier online communities and folks =).
Mesmer is a harder class to play, fortunately I always play the enchanter/mesmer type, for some reason Im a glutton for punishment.
I always find it rediculous when you have others calling out for mesmer nerfs , as we are for sure the tougher class to master. tricky and fun though.
What sucks for me is, my main is a mesmer so when I try and fool around with other classes in PvE I find it overwhelmingly easy in comparison haha.
Id like to see custom UIs be allowed (if their not, but I havent seen them anywhere)
and its not that I dislike the UI, I just like options=)
I concur 1rst person is a must, if for no reason other than immersion
I agree, Ive noticed a lot of husbands/wifes (us included), I think over all GW2 has a very solid foundation, but I also think they need to add a lot, romantic emotes being one of them, also think a marriage system would be great.
Im relatively new to GW2, and so far it seems to me that crafting isn’t very viable.
In general it just seems like the items you can make are not as good as those of equal lv being sold on the market, and then if you do make an item someone will purchase, the price is so driven down that it seems like you actually lose a small amount of copper.
Am I wrong? I really think that crafting overall needs some tweakage, or the economy in general seems problematic.
Any suggestions thus far Ive attempted to tailor, and wife tried to fool with cooking (haha thats right hunny work that oven=) but she gave up quick seeing her small amount of coin dwindle and I have yet to really feel like tailoring is profitable. (I think the exception is if you harvest 100% of needed materials, there then maybe a small amount of profit).
oh I should add, that I think its free atm to switch servers, and we haven’t made too many connections so are open to changing servers.
Hi, my wife and I are currently on the gates of madness server, looking for a serious guild.
We have 3 daughters as such play mostly late night EST, we run our own business and its quite flexible so sometimes we have ALOT of playtime.
Currently running a mesmer/elementalist duo
We dont want an overtly large guild who invites everyone and thier brother
We want a guild thats tight knit, and focused somewhat
We love PvP albeit we aren’t good at it yet
Im used to being in the server top guild and would like to keep that tradition
Because we have a family we generally dislike Teamspeak/ventrilo, although we understand its merits, we use it as little as possible and would prefer to not be forced to use it (exceptions for specific reasons is acceptable)
We would classify ourselves as hardcore and look forward to dominating GW2 endgame/PvP
We are also new to the game (8 days or so since we got into it)
Thanks=)
Mesmers: the good, the bad, i still want to bang my face on fighting them

Seriously, I wish they’d just remove PVP, the constant call to nerf mesmers, who ARE NOT OPed, is getting rediculous.
I think a better option for PvP would be to just give every class but mesmers an Iwin attack, obviously thats what it seems most want, not every class is well suited to beating every other class, and to attempt to balance a game like that would leave all classes bland and boring.
Its the same every game though, from EQ1 up to GW2, the enchanterish type class gets nerfed because the lesser skilled players who wont play them dont like that someone whos put time into learning a versatile class can beat them.
Maybe they could remove every class except warriors. oh wait that wouldnt work cause then we’d all call for them to nerf every build we didnt personally play.
Hey, new to the game and having trouble finding answers about this.
It seems while reading mesmer builds/strats folks make it sound like Chaos storm can give you chaos armor? is that accurate?
In the description for it, It does not list that, I maybe miss understanding it, also does it cause confusion?
It seems to me like in large battles when I have a few mobs, I have maybe noticed both chaos armor, and confusion pop up but Im not 100%?
thanks for the help=)
I have to wonder if some of these folks ever played other MMOS? The population on my server is very high, others said the game needed to be polished more ROFL….This is the most polished game Ive ever played this early on, WOW maybe was more polished, but I didn’t play that, seriously the game is great, Im having a blast.
Maybe there are a couple low pop servers….but mine is great, server merging is not a good idea, it will only hurt the game as it will be made to look like the game isn’t doing good.
Truthfully I wasn’t a huge fan of GW1, but I love what Im seeing in GW2.
If you want the game to be a major success represent it, spread the word, talk about it on all these MMO sites, all folks need to do is make some posts and say GW2 is a blast, and folks will come, only reason I decided to give it a try was reading a lot of good reviews, a month after launch I had NO Intention of playing.
Glad I am now tho.

Mesmers are not OPed….I find the entire class system to be about the most balanced I’ve ever seen on a brand new game, that said you need to set yourself up different if your having issues with mesmers, and then of course theres the stealth bug.
