So sick and tired of being in a 2v3 or 4v5 and having it autobalance after they already have a 300 point lead. I’m willing to wait for a match to accumulate an even number of players before starting and making it so there’s a penalty for leaving as long as it makes it so every game isn’t just imbalanced as all hell.
I was trying out different builds and went a pistol whip build. to my dismay in only an hour about 5-6 people had whispered me raging about gimmicks and crying overpowered. Not only this build but others as well. I havent tried anything involving HS yet but im sure people cry about that too. I got a few rage whispers while using condition damage d/d build. Why do people cry so much?
The general gripe with people was that I was spamming the same move over and over. I don’t understand what they expect me to do, switch to my other weapon and use abilities that do subpar damage compared to spamming death blossom or pistol whip?
Title. I’m ready to give up my D/D condition damage build. while it has served me well, I’m tired of having 18-20 conditions cleansed by guardians or rangers and the like and barely coming out alive. what are other viable builds? I would like to keep my 2ndary shortbow. I like the mobility.
I hate to agree, but once my story-mode was all about Orr and the risen, I just found myself dreading doing the missions.
There are lots of other risen “types” other than just the normal races though. You get to the level 70+ areas, and you fight risen sharks, skale, and other creatures-turned-undead. I think they just need to continue this variety among the undead, and have each race have a sort of signature move that requires the player to pay more attention instead of just stabbing away mindlessly at them.
I know what you mean. once I got to orr I really slowed down on the story. I can only stomach doing about one quest a day. Walk 5 feet, kill 300 risen, repeat
Downed abilities don’t have anything to do with levels, me getting a mesmer downed while still having 20% hp wont change the fact that they can summon attacking phantasms, spam confusion and create a clone of themselves all while downed and all I can strike back with is throwing knives
One of the two. I really don’t care. I’m tired of durability and just dying in general because someone has better downed abilities (Looking at you, Mesmers and Guardians)
It makes sense from a gameplay perspective rather than an explorable one.
Each team should have its own home base area. If you were required to only explore one, then you would still find that either your team had to be winning by miles (in which case exploring the others would still be cakewalk) or you would have to wait until you were another color (in which case its still a cakewalk to explore the other areas, you just have to wait for the right color change)
also whats wrong with free exp? More Poi’s vistas and skillpoints for very little effort? Yes please.
Separate places? They’re unique in the same way a red apple and a green apple differ

As the title says I was wondering why you have to explore all 3 of the WvW borderlands for 100% map completion
Why is it mandatory to explore the same thing 3 times over, and have all 3 required to be for the most part under your teams control and always under the threat of being ganked or killed?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to avoid PvP, but this is a little ridiculous
So I should be in a position where I have to pay people money to go uncontest a waypoint for me, or have to run for 20 minutes through throngs of mobs just to be able to continue my story
I was playing through my story quest here today and to my horror, 14 of the 19 waypoints in this zone were being contested. Something has to change, whether about this zone or the way WPs are contested. it’s ridiculous
