You think you’re something special huh?
Well the only thing that could be more impressive than you. . . is another you – possibly.
No need to fantasize, opportunity awaits. Duplicate yourself in a variety of flavors. Mix and match, and when you’ve finally grown tired of your clones over enlarged egos simply shatter them. It is likely to generate dismay among the masses though as they leave a pretty large void. Fear not, filling that void is as simple stop drop and roll because. . . you’re on fire. . . because you’re on a roll. . . because you’re rolling. . . pretty much all the time. . .
Or at least you will be! As soon you become a MESMER. . . rolling is the whole point really, and BEAUTIFUL HAIR. So don’t just be somebody, go out there and be a few somebodies.
I suppose that trait could be switched if you prefer it. I personally feel that the sword cool-downs are all relatively short and prefer to have the phantasms crit more.
This build focuses on, you guessed it, signets. I have revised this build everytime changes were made and finally feel it is in a form that will be considered competitive. I do wish to note that Signet of Ether is a new skill and may change in the future. So please keep that in mind when judging this build.

Pros
+ High burst
+ High evasion
+ Invulnerability
+ Low CDs
+ Moderate amount of Interrupts
Cons
+ Inconsistent mobility
+ Lacking reliable group utility
Running Sword/Sword is great for mobility in a fight. It also offers 2 leap finishers, a daze, more invulnerability, a block and immobilize. The phantasm for sword is preferred in this build due to the fact it is a single strike attack, which will help your overall burst if timed right.
Running Staff is a great defensive weapon, offering evasion, cc and additional conditions that mesh well with Clone Death (overriding, or losing clones to damage effects, and applying conditions via Debilitating Dissipation) The Phantasm for staff is also the hardest hitting single striker for all of the condition application.
Overall this is a great Burst Support with potential for adding pressure on far point. The lack of consistent swiftness does kitten the mobility but the build shines on point fights.
Signet of Ether makes for an amazing regen and a heal that can double up your phantasms and increase your burst.
Signet of Inspiration is great for random boon generation that can aid in mobility, damage and defense. The active ability should mainly be used to share a large amount of boons or extend/reapply stability when recieved.
Signet of Midnight synergizes with Inspiration and is you’re only stun break but also offers aoe blind which can protect your teammates, avoid cc while rezzing or guarantee a stomp (blind or distortion wise)
Signet of Domination is really only there for the stun effect and simultaneous distortion, the condition damage helps but is a negligible attribute.
Mass Invisibility is great for peeling off of a fight and rezzing allies, you could run Moa if you wanted to play this as a bunker buster build but I recommend Mass Invis because it offers more group utility.
