Wow so there is still no fix for it in the new build from tonight ? :/
Its just sth you need to get used to. When the game initially launched there where tons of plotstoppers in the personal story missions just like this one. Same goes for nearly every new personal story they release. And once they fixed everything up its only a matter of time till again some skillpoint is broken or there is another plotstopper in one of the missions.
Partly because GW2 is such a massive game and well … in a massive game there will always be some bugs/glitches and partly because the testing process for new content seems to be really bad. (ofc partly due to the fact that especially the living world stuff is released with so little time in between )
I would be happy if they introduced a system like the dungeon finder in wow or the team builder in League of Legends where u select ur role before u start and than are matched automaticly with people looking for that role.
I honestly think that the games are more often decided through the wrong teamcomposition rather than MMR.
Lets be real here … everyone even the people that are anti nerf admit that strength runes are the best rune set atm.
And if 90% of players disregarding their class play with these runes they are op and need to be nerfed … simple as that.
They dont seem to be op to some cuze most people run them so in the end everyone gets the same dmg boost but as long as there is one runeset thats so much stronger than any other runeset u can pick from there need to be adjustments either in making the other runesets stronger or nerfing the set thats playd over everything else atm.
Anet should simply give us the ability to ban 1 or 2 maps out of our mappool when starting soloq … people who enjoy skyhammer can do their 5 on 5 s with the 3 classes that work on the map than and the rest of us who wants to play normal pvp can avoid it …
As long as they dont finally add Guild vs Guild or a 5n5 Arena mode compareable to the one in GW1 I really dont see how PvP will have a future in this game. Fact is that most PvP Guilds with ambitions have allrdy quit the game and probably wont come back.
I think the recent changes were smart if ur goal is to get more players who mainly do PvE to play PvP as well. But for players who play PvP since the start basicly nothing has changed. Sure there is a new reward system but the core mechanics are still the same. Same old maps , still no option to ban some maps from ur mappool when searching for games ( so u are forced to play on skyhammer over and over again … ), no PvP mode beside WvW and the Conquest Casual mode we got at release, etc etc. .
