see it may not be intentional “double teaming” on ET but it sure does seem like it, we have people that upgrade our towers/keeps but the issue is when we do upgrade it we either have to rush back to EB because the Ferg Zerg is pushing in our terroritory in EB or BC is omega golem rushing stuff in our BL. it gets demorilizing and tireing and I think that’s why a lot of ET is getting abit tired of WvW

Lukian plays no longer and there’s only a handful of people left in the guild. Hopefuly me and a couple of others can manage to come back (20g per transfer is really hard to do)

Would be nice seeing you back on FC territory Moobs. Maybe then when I ask someone nicely to take a crew and recap something while I am working on another area I can get that help unlike (a commander I will not mention who decided to follow me around and we lost camps in the process). I am sure anyone on Fergs knows the individual in question.

The whole FC is a joke. The reason we’re loosing is because we are always on the defensive. The best offensive is the best defense, if we’re always on def, SF is free to pour all their forces into offense. Instead of wasting resource into upgrading on what we can’t def, FC should keep SF busy in their bl with gorilla warfare. Stop zerging and divide your forces into smaller groups.

You were spewing this same garbage in game and a good defense means you continue to gain points. Hit and run gets you a point you lose 5 mins later and opens up your BL for the night train to take it. If you can slow the bleed from the train you gain more points.

And, the reason we are (loosing) losing? Is because we have such a small presence from midnight to 8am the only way we can continue to gain points over night is to defend against zerg. You must be new because we have gotten pretty dang good at it.

If you don’t like the way we command and the way we defend please pay your nominal fee and move to another server I hear SF will welcome you to the train and you can hit and run all night with them.

We are usually on early evening EST but we play all day on weekends. Recently we have kinda stayed away from Wv3 due to people whining and complaining but I still go in and run wild. We are starting to spend more time back in the fight and we are pro’s at defending. 2 of our commanders are Military (Myself and Elk) and we love to watch the approaching hordes get cut down by accurate heavy fire

Will hit you up in game and we’ll talk about it. We are starting to get our night crew together and will start to work some overnight really soon.

There is a reason most of us on FC have quit heavy attacking SF and ET and stick to defending. If SF wants to steam roll thats fine. We will take the points we get on defense and they can move up. Once that happens we will get back to Wv3…

Yeah it was a good night the group you were with was my guild…. Elk, Azmika and myself along with about 15 others. I wish we could have kept the momentum up but as usual the SF zerg ended the fun. We held them at Bay for a while then like true SF style they added about another 50 to the party. Glad you had fun and I hope to see you out there more often.

I am so getting tired of the mindless Zergball that ANet calls Sorrow’s Furnace. This match up only makes sense to ANet. We, who have endured through DR, Kain and now SF for so many months are really getting tired of the constant ROFLStomping. Fair fights, a real chance to win that’s all we want. Why do we lose week after week… because we can’t get the noobs in there for more then a day before they go back to PvE so they don’t have to pay repairs all the time. A lot of players don’t want to go in there and face 25-30 zergers. Sorry but this whole match up is starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth and it takes like crap.

Well I talked to [DH] guild. They are sorry and they will not do that again.
They said that they thought its a normal thing like mesmer portals in WvW and they thought everyone used them as they did.
So we are done with that.
And it was fun taking SH from you SFs then heading back to EB to push you back :P.

First of all, you talked to one member of [DH]. There may have been a few that may have been exploiting (I have not seen any pics, video or anything) but the majority of us did not even know what you were talking about when the information was relayed to us.

Here ya go…notice the ET guys outside the gate trying to fight in and the fact your guys are inside (and nothing has been damaged not the gate and not the walls)…there’s you picture and if you go back to last weeks forum there are more.

To all the ET and SF guys that were there when ET was trying to take Redbriar via Breakout tonight… bet you didn’t see that coming did you? 5 of us got in with the gate down got it back up killed the Dolyak… Siegrazer came in …SF routed the ET guys, SF broke the gate tried to cap.. we rezed the Claimer…. killed Siegerazer then killed off the SF and repaired the gate again…. man that was fun…. can we do it again I didn’t have my fraps on….

“weak” server would imply you’re somehow better than either fc or et which is a far cry from the truth, but numbers are what wins games so if you call mindlessly charging at objectives in a larger group then yes, you are stronger than us.

Score suggests otherwise. In a game of points, the player with the most points is the better player. Whether it’s due to tactical prowess, average skill, or just raw numbers. SF, as a whole, is stronger at WvW than ET or FC, regardless of how competent your small forces are. And don’t assume everyone on SF lacks skill, as your tone "implies’. We have just as many great players as you do. We’re just lost in the comfort of a zerg.

As pointless anecdotal evidence, just last week, a group of 7 SF, myself included, successfully defended Overlook from 25 ET for nearly an hour, before we had 5 or 6 more SF join, resulting in stomping them out. Unfortunately due to ET never being around for most of the day, we rarely get such opportunities.

I actually understand how the ratings work quite well. Maybe you should read up. (This game is fun… and stupid… and unwarranted) In the most simplistic terms, good servers go up, bad servers go down. As I recently said, score is the ultimate factor of “How good” a server is. Of course, due to the low volatility of the current match ups, a population shift can have a long term effect on the balance of matches. Hod is currently a stronger server than SF. Whether or not that will change though, will be decided in about 3 weeks time.

In the end though, I wouldn’t get my hopes up that HoD will be a much better match. I may be wrong, and I hope I am, but my posts are evidence that I don’t believe it will be.

You know with guesting now in place anyone that thinks they understand tier 8 and would think they could make a huge difference please by all means come on down and get steamrolled with those of us that have gone through it for weeks and see if you enjoy WvW afterwards. The reason our noobs are so reluctant to WvW is because everyone has scared them by saying how bad it is. We took in our guild noobs and had a good time but they are reluctant to go back because SF is just hammering us and they feel they aren’t getting anything out of it. So please feel free to come guest with us.

I would like to remind those not in tier 8 that the first week SF was dropped in with us we beat them and not by a large margin it was a fair fight. The all of a sudden they had a mass influx and a huge night crew and away went our chances to beat them. Every morning we are playing catch up. So the system is surely broken. They should have moved up this week. And I bet if you could see the player hours you would see that between about 9pm EST and 4am EST they are full bore in WvW. We can’t cover that, some of us actually need to sleep to function. And tonight at reset we actually had a good match going. I am almost afraid to see where we stand now. ANet can you please fix this?

This makes me laugh, FC had people that would respond all the time. They one by one was chased away by the weekend wvw Xmas noob. I miss FC , what I dont miss is the unskilled know it alls that are still there. You included.

Yeah we used to get help and then all the big guilds Jumped ship…like Np and ENVY (twice) so now it’s a little harder to get a response when you ask for help. As for your Unskilled comment. I am far more skilled then you give me credit for but oh yeah we never worked together because I was too unskilled for your taste (fun that a guy who was military for 24 years and knows tactics is called unskilled btw)… have fun wherever you finally decided to call home. We will rebuild our numbers and come back as we always do.

SF are like rabbits… you hit one..2 appear… you hit 2, 4 appear…you hit 4 they call you out as Americas most wanted and raise the National Guard.

I was almost happy… As we were walking them around the BL we happened upon multiple SF and ET invaders that had a sudden Oh kittenmoment… I would again like to thank the SF and ET crews we annihilated multiple times. Our noobs are now all about getting into the fray and I pray we can get some more in there…. Coordinated Noobs are as bright as a bag of hammers…. but they are fun to watch….

To the Hacks from DH on Eredon that in a matter of 3 minutes without breaking a single wall or gate took AB and AH. Screen shots were taken of you using the glitch and will be forwarded on to ANet. You have done your sever a great dis-service and cheating isn’t victory…. If you want to win try attacking SF and us with some real head to head fights not with some bull tactic that you learned by watching the cheats do.

And before anyone says anything about a mesmer sweep we took AH from SF not Eredon over 3 hours ago…. there was no way they could have got in. If you notice the attached screen the walls are still up and so is the gate.

Had a weird instance tonight…. Was in Durios…Banner was up…defending when 1/2 my guards decided to turn against us… they went Red and started attacking? Anyone else seen this happen?

Oh and how many kitten guilds transfered to Sorrow’s recently? I have never seen them at 200+ Strength and suddenly they pushed us off EB….

I will say this the defense of SM all afternoon yesterday with 4 walls down was the most intense and fun fight I have had in a long time. Good job to ET and SF for the push and great job to Ferg for the defense at the Lords room. ET your 2 guys on the Trebs at ET Overlook must have been bored… 3 hours of pounding the walls would have driven me crazy. SF you brought a lot of people to the party good on ya. Let’s do that again.

Department of Silly Walking (For all you Monty Python Fans) is a smaller guild trying to build its size for Wv3 and more. We have had 20+ in Wv3 and have pulled off some great captures as a team. They Zerg spirit as normal then decide to camp on the Non-Cap portal leading out of our citadel with a Golem…. really guys? no possible reason to sit there…none. You have proven that you outnumber us… Humiliation is kinda sad… hope when you move up a tier you get treated like you treat us.
