You forget the monthly achievements. Based on the mystic coins, you probably get 15-20 laurels from completing a monthly. This decreases the amount of dailies you have to do in order to get your amulets.
As I wrote, I already achieved 100% map completition several days ago, the explorer achievements are seperate from that, because they require you to find all “Locations” (I think), which are the named areas on a map.
Yes, I’ve visited every headquarter + headquarter instance, though I can’t explore most of the Chantry of Secrets because I’m not a member of the Order of Whispers. Also, I don’t think / hope that this is the problem, because nobody would be able to complete these achievements.
Hi there,
after reaching 100% map completition almost two weeks ago, I set my next goal to get all jumping puzzle achievements. Now that I have achieved that, my next goal would be the explorer achievements (Krytan Explorer, Orr Explorer etc). However I found it very difficult to actually find missing areas. I ran through each zone multiple times, I checked every location with the wiki (by picture and by name) but I am still missing 3 (in the case of Kryta). Are there some specific hidden ones that are not normally displayed on the map? Do areas from the dungeons count? I haven’t done 2 of the explorer ways in CM.
Thanks in advance!
You may want to read the Guild Wars 1 Story or play Guild Wars 1. The Flame Legion had found “gods” (the Titans) that helped them perform the devastating attack on Ascalon, which broke the Great Wall, also known as the Searing. The Titans later got killed by Humans (Guild Wars Prophecies, the Titan Quests, after you finished the main story) and so many of the Charr lost their faith, because what gods could be slain by humans? With the help of the female charr (Kalla Scorchrazer), the Iron, Ash and Blood Legion fought against the Flame Legion with their false gods, beat them, abandoned their gods and many swore to never believe in a deity again.
Text above was completely drawn from memory, some things may be wrong, but the overall story should fit.

Do we have any direct source on it? The Movement of the World, which is a text that available in the ingame world (the book belongs to the Durmand Priory), it clearly states
- In the deepest waters of the sea, another dragon breathed, twisting the waters themselves into tentacled horrors that rose from every lake and river of the land.
Also, I think it has been stated that the Deep Sea Dragon rose where the Krait and Quaggan lived, which is the reason why there are more of them on the shores of Tyria.
However, in Edge of Destiny, I recall someone saying something along the lines of
- If Kralkatorrik rises, we will have to deal with 4 dragons.
Also, at the end of the personal story line Rytlock askes which Dragon is next to slay – Kralkatorrik, Jormag or Primordus. He doesn’t mention the fifth dragon either.
I would like to know if Tyria is really aware of the Deep Sea Dragon and they just don’t mention him because he isn’t a direct threat (yet) like the others, or if they simply don’t know about him.
Have you been to the Chantry of Secrets? (They added a PoI there a few days after launch)
