I love games that have collision mechanics, but let’s be honest here. Due to culling most of the time I can’t even detect enemy models on my screen. I can’t even imagine spending my WvW hours wondering whether the invisible object that I’ve run into is an ally or an enemy.
Is this small amount of damage a side effect of Mirror of Anguish? It has been a long time since I used that skill.
It only says orange swords right? It doesn’t say anything about changing the white swords that appear over a contested objective. You will still know when objectives are under attack. Unless I am missing something.
I like some of your ideas, but as far as number 13 goes I am going to have to say no thank you. Most guilds don’t have any interest in balancing battlegrounds or fighting greater numbers. You can find a multitude of examples of transfers to follow the path of least resistance, but very few where people transfer to fight an uphill battle.
Here is the scenario for my worste Mesmer moment as it plays out in wvw every couple days. I see a nice opportunity to do some damage to the flank of the enemy zerg. I run in and drop temporal curtain and instantly pull 5 invaders right where I want em. I drop the warden and null field on em. Hit Illusionary leap then dodge roll and aoe immobilize with swap. I’ve got three illusions out, warden is swinging, I’ve got the element of surprise for an aoe, criting, bleeding, confusing, mind wracking cluster bomb! Just as I hit blurred frenzy and as the warden starts ramping up his swings, another Mesmer shows up to help! At which time he immediately uses great sword 5 to knock my neatly gathered foes half way across the battlefield an out of range of my flailing asuran arms. Doh!

One thing that I find helps a lot, especially of you run confusion on glamor and scepter, is to stack condition duration on your gear. I can’t remember what the runes are called (wRiting his on my phone) but it is possible to stack 27% condition duration on your armor. Combine that with 36% condition duration from super veggie pizza and 20% to 30% from traits and it starts to get a lot easier to get good stacks of confusion. Since the patch there are also new weapons that give 10% condition duration but I haven’t had time to try them out.

Tonight in tPVP my clones all spawned without armor and neither my clones nor my phantasms would move or do anything. Shatters didn’t work and phantasms didn’t attack. The othere mesmer on my team was experiencing the same problem.
Anyone else?
