Even if anet ban them. They already got paid $400 each. That’s $2000 for some useless stuff no one cares about in game and these PvErs actually paid for it. Let that sink in. And they’re really stupid for thinking they can get away with cheating in the first ever monthly AT. Just show how pathetic NA is. Boosting accts? Sure you may get away with. But blatantly cheating in a dead game mode where everyone already know exactly how you play is just next level stupidity. No one gonna believe 5 random PvErs from out of no where can beat a 4/5 ex-ESL team. That’s just not possible with the current skills gap. And I don’t think they care neither, they already got paid so NO REFUND BOYS

I don’t see why this is a problem. Some people want to be as efficient as possible when they are farming. If you have a problem with it just make your own group?

They should let us convert all those XP Buffs into gold or gems. I dont mind 50 gems for a booster. Better than them clogging up the inventories

Really loopsided matchmaking and completely clueless players against veterans who have been playing the past four years and nerfed rewards are the few reason why I stop playing

“zomg, I go 1v3 and have this really epic battle while my team goes and sucks on 2 nodes”

The missing part:
There could have been someone on the enemy team who rolled his allies “1v3” just the same.

But instead, he blames his team, which actually sounds fairly typical.

He has every right to blame his team tbh. But it seem you don’t even have the minimum attention span or common sense to watch the full vod before accusing him of just simple being a typical forum warrior. Keep in mind, when top players make forum posts, they’re usually about matter which affect the community as a whole and they are in a way representatives of us, the lower tiers players. As many had stated here, this is not baseless complains, many players are experiencing this daily and if anet really have a working system then no one has to 1v2 almost every game to win +5 MMR and lose -20 for incompetent teammates

It doesn’t sound like humble brag to me tbh. I view it as one of the few top players who still care enough about the game to even post on this forum in hope of getting Anet to communicate and fix the issues. Despite what people said about kratos, you cannot deny his contribution to the community after storm, helseth and many others left. I would even go as far as saying he’s one of the few people keeping GW2 PvP alive right now along with rarnark and a couple others.

Also, while what he said just basically what many others have been saying ever since season 6 started; but the message is more respectable and worth taking notes compare to some random forum warriors who just claimed “I 1v2’d and 1v3’d but I still lose, matchmaking is borken kitten y kitten ” or “I deserve legend/Plat cuz I think I am the chosen one”. Exaggerated a little bit but you get my point. Kratos stated his complains and back it up with hard evidences unlike 99% of posts on here with just screenshots and a simple argument such as “I got the most top stats so i deserve MMR”. You can see the difference in attention when a top player make a complain post vs when “Mr. Random Forum Warrior” makes one. This post gathered ~10k views in just a day while other posts of similar nature will most likely get ignore. This is similar to when toker or chaithh made posts in the past about the state of the game

just because you win against someone doesnt mean they are bad. maybe youre just a lil better than them. or they having a bad day. i was in a match when i defending a home point but i decided to type something to my team then a thief came and burst me while im not looking and died. then he type in chat noob. did that make him good and me a bad player? we won that match also.

Thief never beats a DH that’s not kittened and who is paying attention. If you’re kittened, you’re bad. If you’re not paying attention, you’re probably bad. It’s a very safe assertion that any DH that dies to a Thief 1v1 is bad.

A Thief will never kill a DH if the Thief is just a little better than the DH. The DH has to be bad for the Thief to win. And honestly, most extremely subpar DH players will still manage to win against even excellent Thief players. You have to be REALLY bad to die to Thief while on DH.

So about 99% of DH’s I see in WvW are bad when I beat them down with my Daredevil? Out of all the DH fights I was in, I lost 2. One was due to a buddy of his showing up and +1ing the fight (Which I was winning) and one that kept running back to his stone mist NPC’s trying to bait me (I was fighting close to them) so eventually I gave up and picked off a rev.

There must be a literal ton of bad DH then as I see DH in WvW a lot.

WvW is basically glorified PvE tbh. Nothing to be proud of about beating DH as DD in WvW. Now, if you beat kitten or anyone who is good on DH as DD then maybe you can kind puff your chest.

Would be nice to have it in PvP. Maybe make it require more games XP to obtain compare to normal tracks? Since it is a gift for legendary.

I think you guys are misunderstanding him. I watched his stream and he is very decent at multiclassing. I think he is trying to say that the players who complained about DH being OP just need to learn to dodge. Just worded it in a weird way. I watched the full highlight of that match and he did carry with his rotations on mesmer. He is just messing around I think, if yall want an idication of real gameplay watch his rev highlights.

I think you just salty cause you lost to a PP engi, kratoast who was using impact strike with fistfury and mango possibly the worst ranger NA. Storm doing this for FREE for the community. Stop getting kittens cause your OP fotm class can’t even carry your fat kitten cuz you suck . It people like you who find the smallest things to pick on that GW2 PvP can never grow pass the circlejerk of ~100 good players because no one wanna do anything for this whining community. Kratos tournament and now storm AG tournament too. Both of these guys trying to keep PvP positive but there always people who just wanna see people fall.

There was some very hype moments like when rar went Killshot warrior vs The zerker mesmer after a stalemate second set. Kratos was right to allow the swap up. It was super fun and you can actually tell what going on as well as the players skills involved in it instead of the AIDS hot visuals effects
