Guildwars2 wikiYou can buy influence with coin at a Guild Promoter at a rate of 20 per point in the following increments:
10 for 2
100 for 20
1,000 for 2
10,000 for 20
This is a much better investment than doing serious WvWvW when you take into accout, upgrading supply camps, towers and keeps. Then add on the repair costs…..
Harvesting in WvWvW should be linked to supplies at camps or keeps.
One suggestion would be that players could deposit resources gathered in borderlands/battleground at a supply camp.
For example wood at lumber will. Once enough wood has been gathered and processed at the mill, the dolyak will take off on a supply run.
Npcs near camps would also go out to gather to make sure that a minimum amount of supplies/dolyaks are generated.

To have any form of success it’s key importance to upgrade supply camps, then use the increased supplies to upgrade Towers and Keeps.
Unfortunately there is no other way than having people spend their own hard earned silver and gold on this. I think this is a glaring game flaw in WvWvW. Their needs to be a way to spend “guild” coinage or some other currency on this.
The same goes for how to get commander title. This should be purchasable with badges of honor, influence or some other currency.
If the currency has to be gold. then there needs to be an option of spending guild coinage, this functionality exists in many other current games.
Lastly there needs to be an in game WvWvW standing of worlds, guilds and players. Guilds need to be rewarded for helping their home world in WvWvW. Currently we see people not bothering to help in WvWvW since there is no reward and little to no glory since you cannot see standigs/score. The game is called GuildWars after all
While WvWvW is fun, I think until they change how you pay for upgrades it’s very costly for us to seriously take part in WvWvW.
I get this bug as well. Happens in almost all dragon fights or in WvWvW zerg battles. Never happens in dungeons, events etc… where there are not more than 20 people max. Seems clearly related to amount of people in a fight. Maybe it’s related to generating sounds from all the active parties in a fight??
