Guild Wars 2

So to this point I’ve ran the repair thing and redownloaded/reinstalled the game and nothing has changed. I’m about to give up.

To answer some more of your questions, after I click “Play” I’ve let it sit for a half hour before with just a black screen. The screen goes black and the mouse cursor changes to what I remember it to be while playing before, but there is no sound. When I move the cursor around it will change to a hand in the middle of the screen, but clicking does nothing.

Has there been any news on this issue?

I picked this game up last year some time and didn’t really get to get into it very much and just came back to try things out. Problem is that when I click “Play” on the launcher I just get a black screen with a gold curser. I am running an early 2013 Macbook Pro with Retina Display with OS X Yosemite, 10.10.2. I’ve updated all my OS software and the game itself, but I just get the black screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
