I’m an elementalist with over 2k hours played and I approve of these changes. I really love how I can be able to do massive damage in exchange for being as glassy as it gets. That new trait in earth (diamond skin) is rly strong but still not worth going too deep into earth, please don’t try to make condition elementalists happen, it’s not going to happen. There are better classes at it and there’s simply no point.

RNG God blessed me with “Crabtacular!” achievement. And then “dango daikazoku” started playing on my playlist. I can die in peace. Trying for 7h straight paid off.

I have completed all other achievements related to crab grab, I have like 42 karka shells on me from chests. Still no Crabtacular. As people get progressively better I don’t think it’s going to be possible to get it anymore…

I’m not sure if I should count Crabtacular as possible. I think I’d rather put in in “freaking RNG” category.

Very easy achievement, got it in like 10th game I played, and managed to have everyone dead while I was holding the crab at least 3 more times. I played around 15-20 games in total. Where’s the problem?

I hope they won’t change this achievement. No need for everything to be easy mode, even though this one is extremely easy.

No, you don’t seem to understand. You didn’t kill them. You got lucky, they killed themselves. If there was even a single skilled player or afker on the side you wouldn’t get it. It wasn’t skill, it was luck.

Hopefully this achievement is changed, because it’s pretty impossible to get it out of your own skill. It’s purely luck. Luck that there aren’t good players in the match AND that nobody is afking at the side waiting to get the chest. Hard achievements are fine, but achievements that base purely on your luck and on a timed content is too harsh. Being the last person to hold the crab at the end of the match would be more logical.

Have the same problem. It started recently. After 5-30 min of gameplay I cannot interact with anything (same as OP), but I still see chat and can use it.

Why would you report them for exploiting? I fail to see how it’s an exploit. If the ads drop better things than the chest then why not do it? Most people is actually killing the dragon for loots, not to feel cool because you took down a giant lizard.

Oh? So players don’t want lvl 30 sell-to-npc crappy items? Fine!
Let’s give them some lvl 80 sell-to-npc crappy items! That should work!

Finished the story today, but I guess I’ll save the bags for when it’s fixed :p

Update: Underclocking in MSI Afterburner has fixed the issue of my black screens!
However, that’s only a temporary fix and I hope Anet figures something out.

I tried underclocking by 200 mhz and so far it’s good. I’ll report in later if it keeps on happening. I used MSI Afterburner to do that.

Unfortunately I can’t do that, there’s no way for me to do it ‘cause the router is in a different room and I can’t get a cable there.

Well it only happens when I play Guild Wars 2, I can play other games without any problem.

I can’t play the game without it giving me a black screen all the time. My gameplay time varies from 5 minutes to 2 hours. I play, then a random black screen appears and a few seconds later my computer reboots itself. I found that someone got an answer at support to update to a beta version of a graphic card driver, so I did just that. I thought it helped me, but after a bit of playing (maybe like 5 hours) the crashes came back. And now they’re more frequent than ever. I monitored the heat and that’s not the case. I also saw the pinned thread about changing setting in NVIDIA control panel, but I double checked and it was already set the way it should be. Another thing is that I ran the game smoothly during beta weekends, it started happening around the launch.

My graphic card is NVIDIA GeForce GT 430
