Guild Wars 2

We, The Descendants of Gwen, are a casual PvX guild on Piken Square. While we have a wide variety of active players (mostly PvE, with some enjoying PvP and WvW), we have been unable to field a stable team for raids.

We are looking to change this now, and would like to actively recruit a few players interested in forming a stable team that will raid once per week on Friday evenings.

We do not have any representation requirements. While we would appreciate if you’d like to join us for Guild Missions, Fractals or other activities as well, we have no issue if you prefer to only raid with us.

What are our expectations?
- willingness to play MetaBattle raid builds, including gear and skill rotations
- patience and perseverance, do not expect any immediate kills
- ability to attend at least 3 out of 4 weeks per month
- TeamSpeak (this includes speaking and not only listening in!)
- ascended trinkets, and ideally weapons (or working on them)
- ascended armor is optional, exotic is perfectly fine

What are we looking for?
- 1 DPS/Support Herald
- 1-2 Condition DPS (Engineer/Reaper)
- 1-2 General DPS
- 0-1 Druid Healer
- 0-1 Chronomancer

Flexibility to play multiple roles is of course a big advantage. If you don’t have much experience with the raids yet, this is fine as well. Just educate yourself with the Dulfy text guides or the WoodenPotatoes videos to have at least some theoretical knowledge of the mechanics.

Got hit by this problem tonight as well. This is most annoying!

We also had problems with the PvP mission yesterday.

Started the mission, but one of the team had to decline the match resulting in dishonor. As to not waste time, we abandoned the mission intending to restart it after a few minutes.

However, pressing the launch button for the PvP mission resulted in no action happening at all. A person outside the guild team was able to activate it, but it was immediately abandoned again without any interaction.

Actually, there can be problems with display name changes.

I had asked for one about an alternate account (same reason as the OP), and they accidentally “renamed” my main account, which resulted in a switch from “TeaWolf.8935” to “TeaWolf.5812”. While things are mostly alright, the game can’t seem to decide which of these to use, and switches between the new and original one randomly at times.

The one issue this leads to is people occasionally being unable to send me mail. They right click on my entry in the friends list or guild roster, but the recipient in the message window might not be the display name the game thinks is currently active for me, resulting in “recipient not found” kind of error messages.

Guild upgrades would be a nice thing to have in the API. Even greater would be API access to the history of donations.

It would be very helpful to have an easy way to track what people have contributed. Trying to sum donations up by hand is quite some work.

Showed 0/19 despite having axe, sword and rifle in wardrobe. Only a freshly unlocked mace from weapon crate shows up now.

Fractal Master showed zero skins unlocked, despite me having Sword, Axe and Rifle in my wardrobe.

A freshly bought Fractal Mace from create showed up though.
