I never had any problems with crashing till I came back into the game this year. I recently streamed like over 4+ hours and I didn’t crash but I think HoT is majorly kittening over the Mac users. I’ve crashed way to many times today and it really frustrates me.

I see no reason why you would ditch Windows. Honeslty. You are wasting your cash buying a Mac. They are overpriced. Underspecd. You can get a better Windows laptop for less than the price of a Macbook Pro.

Windows PC are bulky and noisy, unless I go the liquid cooling route, then it costs very close to a Mac Pro. I personally use both but prefer Mac OS X, and the quietness and aesthetics of Mac.

I had to buy a copy of Windows exclusively just to play GW2 without crashing. Don’t want to spend money to get yet another copy of Windows when I upgrade to another Mac (whenever Apple decides to refresh the Mac Pro).

EDIT: MacBook Pro most likely will retain 50% of the value after 3 to 4 years, where a windows based notebook will have value close to nothing. End of the day Macs are cheaper.

Bulky. Have you ever seen a MSI laptop? LOL. Laptops are normally bulky when they include a CD reader. Just do a bit of research before you say anything about bulky laptops. Mate is 2015. Slim is what most companies are going for.

Bump! Its been 3 years and to see the that the client is still in beta just makes me mad. I know the Mac community is small but come on. When are we going to get a proper client. I can only really play sPvP at a good frame rate when I stream using OBS.

Also PLEASE FIX THE FULLSCREEN ISSUES WITH THE MAC CLIENT. When fullscreening and using the my second monitor as our primary scene. My Mac has a black screen and I can’t see anything on it.

Hello I main Engie, Bunker Ele. I also play Guardian and Warrior.

I am looking for a guild/ team that can give me a reason to play structured PvP.

I am r25 and I am willing to learn rotations and all that sPvP stuff.

Times that I can play vary. Thursdays- Weekends are the best for me.

Seems like things are working now I logged in on a different computer and the TP is loading fine. Not sure what was up very weird.

So I have the newest Macbook Pro and when I go to the black lion trading post it dosn’t load all the way and it leads to my guild wars 2 to crash. Updating to 10.9.1 has greatly improved gaming for GW2 but has lead to this problem which is very annoying. Any help would b appreciated!
