Why do small guilds feel so put upon by inviting people to join them?

Some of us like it being close friends only. LArge guilds full of people sometimes make you feel so disconnected because you don’t know anyone. The guild I am in is with people that i play tons of other games with and its nice to have a group for just us.

There is not kitten possible way that we can gather 200 kegs and 300 mugs for the FIRST upgrade.

Our guild completed the tavern last night, but were sad to see that all the upgrades after for it cost more kegs and mugs

And what stops you from then inviting 500 people at max level?

I don’t understanf what you’re saying. If the materials it takes to make the upgrades scales with the size of your guild it wouldn’t matter how many people are in it.

It would be really nice if the guild hall updgrades scaled for how many people were in the guild. Ours is very small, and it’s a pain in the kitten farming and farming and farming materials with only about 5 active people.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I really appreciate it. I think I’m just going to suggest we get back into Rift. It’s free, and we have other friends playing it. It’s a shame such a fun and beautiful game has kind of decayed over the years. I preordered GW2 and remember having so much fun with it in the beginning when there were tons of people on.

So I a friend of mine was talking about buying gw2. Knowing that I own the game he asked if it was worth it, so I said I’d have to check it out again and see what it’s like these days.

PvE Is completely dead. If all of the servers say “Very Full” then why can I go through whole areas of the map without anyone saying anything in chat or even seeing one person? I really like this game, but there is nothing at all massively multilayer about it.

The sheer lack of people these days makes it difficult to kill the large elite event monsters, forcing you to grind for xp on lower levelled boring enemies.

I’ve gone and guested on a completely full server, and even that was surprisingly lonely.

Basically, I just want to know is like this everywhere? Is there some secret PvE haven I’m totally missing out on or what? I don’t want to tell my friend to buy the game if no one is playing it.
