Guild Wars 2

My friend just purchased the game and can’t get on my server. Is it tied to accounts that have made the server home, or if they wait until the wee hours will they be able to get on the server?

Kinda stinks to pay 50 bucks and not be able to WvW together.

and all my questions were really just answered. any advice on where to put the traits?

I see a lot of builds that use staff or condition damage in PvP/WvW, does anyone use it in dungeons or fractals?

I really like the feel of staff, so I am trying to make it work and I’d like some information from people that are really experienced as I near 80 with my mesmer. Most PvE stuff involves Greatsword/shattering, and I’m just not a fan of GS at all.

Here’s an update for the people that asked nicely.

I sent a weekend pass key to a friend and he told me that it was already used. Is there anything I can do to be sure he gets in? Who would I contact to resolve it?

I know that I will be in the minority here, and it may not even be possible to do, but I figure I’ll give it a try.

Would ANet please consider making an option so that when I use a ground target AoE it automatically attempts to focus on my target? (Or if I have no target, it centers on myself?) Or maybe the ability to hold shift and hit the ability key and have it do so?

I ask because I play the game with only one hand, which means I can either use the mouse OR the keyboard at any given time, and trying to move and use an AoE of that type is a bit of a pain.

It might break balance or something, I can’t really analyze it myself, but I just thought I’d put that out there though.
